FATHER MELVIN DOUCETTE

"The Father and I are one"

Tuesday, September 30, 2008
Dear Friends,

"Each year Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover, and when he was twelve years old, they went up according to festival custom. After they had completed its days, as they were returning, the boy Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, but his parents did not know it.

Thinking that he was in the caravan they journeyed for a day and looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances, but not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem to look for him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking questions, and all who heard him were astonished at his understanding and his answers.

When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, 'Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety.' And he said to them, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house.'" Luke 2: 41 - 49.

Here is a message from Our Lord addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, "Every Jewish boy has to go to the temple in Jerusalem when he reaches twelve years of age. When I reached that age, I went with My Mother and my foster father, Joseph, for the Feast of Passover. I stayed back when My parents left for home. When they noticed I was not with them, they returned to Jerusalem and looked for me for three days.

They found Me at the end, in the temple. My Mother was very anxious because She thought that She had lost Me. Her question shows Her great distress. My answer was this, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house.'

My answer to My parents shows that I understood who I was. I am the Son of God; therefore my place is to be in My Father's house and to follow the will of My Father. Of course My parents did not understand what I said but they kept these words in their hearts. I knew that I still needed my human parents and so I went back with them and followed them.

My Mother would come to understand the meaning of My words. My greatest home was the temple where My Father was worshipped and glorified. It was there that they offered many sacrifices to Him. I wanted to be in this place as the Father and I are one. You too can be near Me by coming to visit Me in My home in the tabernacle of your Church."

FATHER MELVIN DOUCETTE

"You too are My beloved sons and daughters"

Monday, September 29, 2008

Dear Friends,

After all the people had been baptized and Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, you are My beloved son; with you I am well pleased. Luke 3: 21 22.

We are getting ready to receive Frank Kelly on Friday. He will have a Healing service at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. The Holy Mass will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the healing service will follow.

Here is another message this time from God the Father addressed to Joseph. The Father spoke to him in these words, When My Son Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, the Three Persons of the Blessed Trinity were present. This reveals to you the importance of this baptism.

Jesus, who is God the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, was the one who received the baptism. It was a ritual where He was immersed in the waters of the Jordan River to signify that He accepted the mission I had given Him. He said yes to be the Saviour of the people of the world. The immersion signified death and the coming out of the water signified the resurrection. Jesus said yes to Me, His Father.

Immediately as He came out of the water, the Holy Spirit came upon Him to fill Him totally with His power in order to carry out the mission He had to accomplish. He was filled with the Holy Spirit every day He was on earth until His death on the cross.

I was there too at this famous baptism of My Son. I spoke these words, You are My beloved son; with you I am well pleased. I wish to let the people know that I truly love My Son Jesus and that I was pleased that He said His great yes to Me through His baptism. His baptism as you see was a very solemn moment.

All you who are Christians have been baptized in the baptism My Son Jesus brought you. In this baptism you said yes to Me that you would follow Me every day of your life. Many of you were just babies when you were baptized, so now renew your baptismal promises to Me and walk with Jesus every day. If you have done this, you too are My beloved sons and daughters.

Medjugorje Day By Day Sept 30 - SAY, RATHER THAT IT IS GODS

"Here, in the holy Tabernacle, is the wonderful pool of Bethsaida, that is,
the 'house of mercy' or 'place of healing,' in which the Divine waters of grace
are constantly in motion.

Here every person can obtain the health of his
soul, and if it be the Will of God, the health of his body" (Fr. Lukas Etlin,
O.S.B.).

Mother Teresa -
Let Jesus use you without consulting you, and you will be holy because you belong to Him.

Meditations by Padre Pio - Never has the thought of revenge crossed my mind. I have prayed for them (the slanderers) and I pray. Perhaps sometimes I have said to the Lord: "Lord if to convert them a punishment is necessary, then give it so that they may be saved."

Archbishop Fulton Sheen -

God knows our every move
" Zaccheus was a public servant of the Romans, a tax gatherer who paid a large sum for his office. Part of the taxes he would give to the Romans, but he pocketed all he collected over the amounts due them. Unless his exactions were too ruinous, there was little fear of exposure.

But one day he was checked in his dishonesty, not by having it exposed in the press of the times, nor by having the prosecuting attorney of the Romans bring him to a halt. He was `arrested' by the moral stringency of Our Divine Lord, Whose awful eyes pierced his soul and made him seek not only pardon, but also render restitution.

Standing upright, he said, `Lord, here and now I give half of what I have to the poor; if I have wronged anyone in any way, I make restitution of it fourfold.' "

St. Faustina's diary http://www.marian.org/directory_flash.html -

After the first examination, the doctor [Silberg] found that my condition was grave. "We suspect, Sister, that you do have the illness about which you spoke to me. But Almighty God can do all things."

When I entered my room, I steeped myself in prayer of thanksgiving for everything the Lord had been sending me throughout my whole life, surrendering myself totally to His most holy will. A deep joy and peace flooded my soul. I felt a peace so great that, if death had come at that moment, I would not have said to it, "Wait, for I still have some matters to attend to."

No, I would have welcomed it with joy, because I am ready for the meeting with the Lord, not only today, but ever since the moment when I placed my complete trust in the Divine Mercy, resigning myself totally to His most holy will, full of mercy and compassion. I know what I am of myself... (1679)

O my Jesus, You alone know of my efforts. I seem to be a bit better, but better only to the point that I can go out on the veranda instead of lying in bed. I see and am fully aware of what is happening to me.

Despite the diligent care of my superiors and the efforts of the doctors, my health is fading and running out. But I rejoice greatly at Your call, my God, my Love, because I know that my mission will begin at the moment of my death.

Oh, how much I desire to be set free from the bonds of this body. O my Jesus, You know that, in all my desires, I always want to see Your will.

Of myself, I would not want to die one minute sooner, or to live one minute longer, or to suffer less, or to suffer more, but I only want to do Your holy will. Although I have great enthusiasm, and the desires burning in my heart are immense, they are never above Your will. (1729)

Please pray, through the intercession of St. Jerome, for all scripture scholars and for all who help others come to a greater understanding of Sacred Scripture.

MEDJUGORJE DAY BY DAY

SEPT 30 - SAY, RATHER, THAT IT IS GOD'S

Speaking of humility, the Blessed Mother once said:

If you have received a gift from God, you must be grateful and not credit it to yourself. Say, rather that it is God's. (SM 9-10-85).

Pray that Satan does not entice you with his pride and deceptive strength (MM 11-25-87).

Paul also advises that we be wary of pride and boastfulness:

We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another, and compare themselves with one another, they do not show good sense...

"Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord." For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends (2 Cor 10:12, 17-18).

Reflection:

Although the Blessed Mother has stressed the virtue of humility in her messages, it is unfortunate that some adherents of Medjugorje engage in what might be called "spiritual one-up-manship," a form of pride in which one seeks to elevate oneself in the minds of others by boasting of spiritual experiences or accomplishments, often in comparison to others.

There is a great difference between this and sharing one's experience of Medjugorje as a form of evangelization or witness. The former is self-serving while the latter is in the service of God.

The effects of this spiritual pride is not only harmful to the individual (it is first among the seven deadly sins) but also to the image of Medjugorje that others have. It is easy for people to see through boasting and simply dismiss the person as immature.

Regrettably, they are also likely to dismiss Medjugorje as well. The Madonna may have been referring to this danger when she told the visionaries to, "continue in humility...to speak to all who are coming [here]" (WM 6-28-85).

Application:

Today, simply reflect on these words of the Blessed Mother: "In humility live all the messages which I am giving you" (WM 2-27-86).

This is What I Heard -September 29, 2008- Lec

This is What In Heard + My Vision
September 29, 2008
3:10 PM

Son, bring my message of salvation to the hearers. I wish everyone to be saved but many do not want to listen to my words. I will send a sign to call peoples' attention to the fact that your I AM is real.

You have seen it in your vision, son.

Lec's Vision:
Last night, I was already in bed, my eyes closed, my mind free of any thought, then in my mind's eye I saw a man in the middle of the street falling down to his knees. He saw an awesome sight.

Looking up, I saw a huge, extremely bright cross with its white light blazing in the night time sky. I then saw many people in groups also staring at the extraordinary sight above, wondering what the amazing sight was.

Scripture Reference:
Good News Bible

Matthew 24:30-31 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky; and all the peoples of earth will weep as they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

24:31 The great trumpet will sound, and he will send out his angels to the four corners of the earth, and they will gather his chosen people from one end of the world to the other.

SHORT POWERFUL PRAYER THROUGH ST. JOSEPH

"Glorious St. Joseph, tenderhearted father, faithful
guardian of Jesus, chaste spouse of the Mother of
God, I ask you to join me in praising God the Father
through His Divine Son who died on the cross and
rose again to give us sinners new life. Through the
Holy Name of Jesus, pray with me that we may obtain
from the eternal Father the favor we ask. (here
state your intention)."

Say this prayer for nine consecutive days.

Fear not! God is your shelter (the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. God never fails. Don’t fail him. Call on Jesus. Jesus on the mainline, tell him what you want!
