Dear Friends,
One day Jesus got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, Let us cross to the other side of the lake. So they set sail, and while they were sailing he fell asleep. A squall blew over the lake, and they were taking in water and were in danger. They came and woke him saying, Master, master, we are perishing!
He awakened, rebuked the wind and the waves, and they subsided and there was a calm. Then he asked them, Where is your faith? But they were filled with awe and amazed and said to one another, Who then is this, who commands even the winds and the sea, and they obey him? Luke 8: 22 25
I am sending you another message from Jesus addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, Every person today is in danger now and then. You can be in danger on the road, in an airplane, in your own home because of fire or hurricane and in your own body because of heart trouble, stroke or any other sickness.
People die every day because of accidents or the weather. The disciples too were afraid one day when a storm rose over the lake and the boat was taking in water. I was asleep in peace knowing the Father was always taking care of us.
They woke Me in great fear thinking they were about to die. I simply got up and rebuked the storm and in no time everything was calm. The Apostles were amazed that I could do such a miracle.
There are many friends of mine who have been spared because of their faith in Me. I stopped a car from going over a cliff with two people in it. They saw My two hands in front of them stopping the car so they could reverse and continue on the road. I healed a man on the day the doctors told him he would die.
Today he is in good health for his age. I cured children in the womb of their mothers although the doctors thought the child would not live. Yet that child was born normal. I am working today just I did when I was on earth.
I want you to believe that I am divine and I have all power to help you. However, you need to believe in Me with all your heart and follow the commandments of God. Work hard to be virtuous and you will truly be My disciple.

Son, believe not everything you hear and see. Confirm with me before you give
legitimacy to anything you find and wishes to share. By that, you will preserve
your integrity and the truth I am giving you.
No one has the perfect answer to
puzzle concerning my mysteries but I reveal them to those whom I trust with my
words, to those who bother to ask Me if indeed the prevailing impression aligns
with my plans. I do care to teach the right way and the direction which I want
my genuine carriers of the word to know so that through them, people will
believe whatever I want to say.
Credibility is essential for a messenger for without it, all communication is
rendered ineffectual because the people will no longer believe and therefore
bring to nought everything I had worked for to achieve.
Consult me in anything that pertains to my plans and you will never go wrong.

Voice to littlest of servants September 13, 2008
While in Church this morning after I received HOLY COMMUNION while JESUS was
still in my mouth before I swallowed HIM I heard the following.
I heard the word destruction but it was not from JESUS because the voice sounded
raspy and evil and it surprised me.
I then heard the voice say he was going to destroy the world and nothing can
stop him. It was then I realized it was the evil one.
I wondered why I heard this and then JESUS spoke and told me that satan planned
to destroy the whole world.
JESUS then told me that to prevent this the remnant needed to PRAY, ESPECIALLY
THE ROSARY AND DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET, HOLY HOURS, ADORATION, AND SACRIFICE.
JESUS also told me to not worry about the numbers of people doing these things
but just continue to do them and HE would take care of the rest.
SO WE ARE NOT TO WORRY BUT CONTINUE TO DO THE THINGS THAT JESUS HAS ASKED US TO
DO AND TO TRUST IN HIS MERCY AND LOVE WHICH ARE SO GREAT NO HUMAN BEING CAN
BEGIN TO COMPREHEND THEM.

On the eve of the retreat, I started to pray that the Lord Jesus might give me just a little health so that I could take part in the retreat, because I was feeling so ill that I thought perhaps it might be my last. However, as soon as I had started praying I felt a strange dissatisfaction.
I interrupted the prayer of supplication and began to thank the Lord for everything He sends me, submitting myself completely to His holy will. Then I felt profound peace of soul.
Faithful submission to the will of God, always and everywhere, in all events and circumstances of life, gives great glory to God. Such submission to the will of God carries more weight with Him than long fasts, mortifications and the most severe penances. Oh, how great is the reward for one act of loving submission to the will of God! As I write, my soul is enraptured at the thought of how much God loves it and of the peace that my soul already enjoys, here on earth. (724)

These thoughts for a day are taken from a daily meditation book based on the Messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje by Father Richard J. Beyer, Ave Maria Press.
SEPT 14 - THE TRIUMPH OF THE CROSS
The following are two messages the Madonna gave on the feast of the Holy Cross:
Dear children, during these days, when you joyfully celebrate the feast of the cross, I wish that your own cross become a source of joy.
Especially, dear children, pray in order to be able to accepts sickness and suffering with love, as Jesus did. It is only in this way, that I can experience the joy of giving you the graces and the cures, which Jesus permits me to grant you (weekly Message SEPT 11, 1986).
Dear children ! I wish to tell you these days to put the cross at the center of your life. Pray especially before the cross which is the origin of great graces. In your homes make a special consecration to the cross of the Lord. Promise that you will not offend Jesus nor the cross. (Weekly Message SEPT 12, 1985).
And from Paul's Letter to the Philippians:
And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death even death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name (Phil 2: 7-9).
Reflection:
To the secular world, the triumph of the cross is a contradiction in terms. How can life and victory come from death and defeat? Yet to believers, the Lord can and does transform evil into good, tragedy into victory, death into life. In this perspective Our Lady cans say, "I desire that your cross also would be a joy for you."; For our crosses are not dead-ends. When linked to the passion and cross of Christ, they become grace filled and redemptive for ourselves and others.
The key to unlocking the redemptive power of our crosses is, first of all, our acceptance of them. The Blessed Virgin asks us to , "pray that you may be able to accept sickness and suffering with love, the way Jesus accepted sickness and suffering with love, the way Jesus accepted them." As the Serenity Prayer says,
O God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Secondly, to consciously offer our suffering to Christ, to link our cross to his, is to give it a redemptive power. "Only that way," Our Lady says, "shall I be able, with joy, to give out to you the graces and healings which Jesus is permitting me.
Application:
At one point in his talks before pilgrims, Fr. Jozo asks them to kiss the picture of Mary he has just given them, for "she is your Mother." Today take down your household cross and reverently kiss it, for this is our Brother. Then offer the Serenity Prayer.

Jesus Provides Us A Way To Peace And Serenity
Today we attended the 8:00 AM Mass at our parish, Our Lady Of Sorrows. I
made small offerings to Jesus and Mary and prayed for all with special
intentions and needs.
After receiving the Sacred Body and Blood of Christ in the sacrament of Holy
Communion, I knelt in prayer giving thanks and praise to God. Asking Jesus to
remove all outside distraction that my heart and my mind might only hear that
which comes from Him, I prayed, Speak Lord if it be Your will, Your servant
listens.
I began to see a huge dark sky above and surrounded by white clouds that
only bordered the darkness. Then Jesus spoke saying, My child Eileen, when
darkness takes away the Light in your life, it is only prayer that will remove
the dark clouds and return the Light. Look to Me in your dark days of despair,
come to Me and pray and I will bring you back into the Light. Go in peace to
love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers and sisters. Amen

Son, persevere in faith. The waiting is certainly long for some of my promises
to manifest but trust me that prayers are heard.
My eyes are upon those who love Me and give Me first priority in their lives.
They are the apple of my eyes. I shall carry them through in my arms until the
tempest coming in the horizon is over.
I will not allow them to suffer beyond
what is necessary to purify their souls, hence their hope in my promise to bail
them out of great troubles should be given as "GOOD NEWS" to them my watchful
children. At a time they don't expect, my angels will fetch them wherever they
may happen to be, to be taken into the safety of my reserved place for them.
Tell them this to brighten up their sagging hopes.

My dear, dear children if you open the door of your HEARTS, on the day HE comes
knocking, you will be filled with My SON. I f you refuse to open the door to My
SON on the day HE comes knocking then the door of your HEARTS will remain closed
to HIM FOREVER. This DAY draws near and has been called the "ILLUMINATION".
This is the day of CHOICE for your HEART. Do not keep the door of your HEART
