Dear Friends,
"Then going out Jesus went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. When he arrived at the place he said to them, 'Pray that you may not undergo the test.' After withdrawing about a stone's throw from them and kneeling, he prayed, saying, 'Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done.'
And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him. He was in such agony and he prayed so fervently that his sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground. When he rose from prayer and returned to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief. He said to them, 'Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test.'" Luke 22: 39 - 46
Here is another message from Our Lord and Saviour to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, "After the Last Supper during which I instituted the Holy Eucharist, the Apostles and I left the upper room and went to the Mount of Olives as was our custom. That night I knew it would be the last time that we would be together on the Mount of Olives
It was also the night of My Agony. I asked the Apostles to pray knowing that they needed to be strong for the next days. I went away from them and I knelt on the ground and prayed to My Father. Great fear came over Me as I asked My Father to take away this cup from Me but I did not want to do My will but His. An angel came to comfort Me when My suffering was intense and I was sweating blood. My heart was pounding so hard in My chest.
My dear friends, I was suffering on the Mount of Olives for each one of you. I knew what suffering I would endure the next day until My death on the cross. In My human nature, I felt much fear and at times I wanted to run away but I knew I had to go through My Passion to redeem you all. It was My love for you that caused Me to go through it all.
Come to Me today, My brothers and sisters, and contemplate the great suffering I endured on Good Friday. I gave My life for you. Spend time with Me today and open your heart to receive My love. I am your Savior, your Redeemer, who calls you to follow Me. Do not delay but take My hand today. I love you."

Dear Friends,
"As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voice, saying, 'Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!'
And when he saw them, he said, 'Go show yourselves to the priests.' As they were going they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him." Luke 17: 11 - 16
Here is another message by Our Lord given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words, "There are many people suffering from all kinds of sicknesses and one of these is leprosy, which is a horrible disease with much pain. Today there is medication to help these poor suffering people but when I was on earth there was no medication at all. Those who had leprosy had to leave the village and go and live away from people or with other lepers because this sickness is contagious.
One day ten lepers came to Me asking Me to have pity on them. I took pity on them and I wanted to help them. I told them to go and show themselves to the priests but on their way they were healed. The leprosy left them completely and they were now healthy. Only one came back to thank Me for his healing.
It is My love for the sick that prompts Me to heal them. I am the Son of God and I have the power to make all things new. All sicknesses entered the world because of sin, original sin, and at the same time death entered the world. I come to establish a new world, a new beginning and a new way of living.
When I was on earth, I was never sick as I was not born with original sin. I want you to be renewed and I show you that through My healing power. If I can heal your body, I can surely heal your spirit if you call upon Me. Accept Me as your Lord and Master as the lepers did and I will refresh you. I will lighten your burden and bring you peace. I will always be with you during your life in this valley of tears. Stay with Me because the darkness is covering more and more of the world."

Dear Friends,
Jesus addressed this parable to those who were convinced of their own righteousness and despised everyone else. Two people went up to the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector. The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity greedy, dishonest, adulterous or even like this tax collector.
I fast twice a week, and I pay tithes on my whole income. But the tax collector stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast and prayed, O God, be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former; for everyone who exalts himself with be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 18: 9 14
Here is another message from Jesus addressed to Joseph. Our Lord spoke to him in these words, How do you pray? Do you concentrate on yourself or are you concentrated on Me? Do you show off before Me by telling Me all that you have done? In the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, I show you the two approaches to prayer.
The Pharisee is full of pride and he only speaks about all the good he has done and he praises himself over the rest of the people. He enjoys saying that he is not greedy, dishonest or adulterous and that he is not like the tax collector. He presents himself as if he is a saint and he does not need any grace. He thinks he is doing well on his own. He does not know that he is the worst of sinners as he is full of pride and blind to his sins.
The tax collector on the other hand is very humble. He stands in the back and he does not look up. He keeps his head down, as he knows that he is a sinner. He beats his breast as a sign that he has done wrong and prays in this way,
O God, be merciful to me a sinner. He tells the truth that he has sinned and asks God to have mercy on him. Of the two, the tax collector is the one who touches God's heart because of his humility. He receives the grace he has asked for and he is filled with peace and joy.
I call you all to imitate the tax collector for all men have sinned and they fall short of the Kingdom of God. I told you that without Me, you can do nothing, nothing good. Those who follow the Pharisee will surely make a mess of their lives. Come to Me with a humble heart and I will receive you and you will be My friend.

Jesus
Dear apostles, how strongly you desire holiness. This desire pleases Me and I will bless this desire. I will increase your holiness. There are times when you despair of becoming as holy as you wish. At those times when you are tempted, I would like you to know that I can make you holy in an instant. If you require heroic holiness in a moment, I can give it to you.
The Holy Spirit blows where it is both welcomed and needed so if you welcome the Spirit, the Spirit will sanctify you. I, Jesus, lived on earth and in My humanity I understand the struggles that plague you. I understand the frustration you feel when you examine yourself and find that you have work to do in virtue.
Dear ones, consider life like a walk. If you are taking a walk on any given day, you walk. You do not sit down on the path and call that action walking. That would be sitting down and that is different from walking. Your spiritual life is meant to be active. If you look at yourself and find that you need to work on holiness, then you are looking at yourself in truth.
You are on the path and you are walking and you see that ahead of you the path continues on into the unknown as far as the possibility for your holiness. I, Jesus, am comfortable with this for you.
I am not pleased, however, when you move backwards on the path or leave the path altogether. You were meant to serve Me and you were meant to serve Me in this time. Please, do not be distracted. Do not believe that My plan can do without your service. My plan does not require your perfection,
My dearest one, but it does require your presence. If you remain with Me during your time on earth, My treasures are transmitted to you. You can then open your heart to others and allow these treasures to be distributed to them. Ask Me for these treasures for others. I will send them to others through you. Have no fear that this prayer will go unanswered.
It will not. It will be answered more generously than you can imagine. Draw closer to Me in holiness, dear apostle, so that I can sanctify you and move into the world through you. Do not be afraid of changes. Just as you must always be moving on your path, so the world must always be moving through time. As the world moves through time it changes and it is changing now. You, dearest apostle, are a part of that change.

"Many problems darken the horizon of our time. We need but think of the urgent need to work for peace, to base relationships between peoples on solid premises of justice and solidarity, and to defend human life from conception to its natural end.
And what should we say of the thousand inconsistencies of a 'globalized' world where the weakest, the most powerless and the poorest appear to have so little hope! It is in this world that Christian hope must shine forth! For this reason too, the Lord wished to remain with us in the Eucharist, making his presence in meal and sacrifice the promise of a humanity renewed by his love" (Pope John Paul II, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, 20).

Yes means " I surrender," totally, fully, without any counting the cost, without any examination, " Is it all right? Is it convenient?"

One morning after Holy Communion, I heard this voice, I desire that you accompany Me when I go to the sick. I answered that I was quite willing, but after a moment of reflection I started wondering how I was going to do so; the sisters of the second choir* do not accompany the Blessed Sacrament. It is always the sister-directresses who go. I thought to myself: Jesus will find a way.
Shortly afterwards, Mother Raphael sent for me and said, "Sister, you will accompany the Lord Jesus when the priest goes to visit the sick." And all through the time of my probation I carried the light, accompanying the Lord and, as a knight of Jesus, I always tried to gird myself with an iron belt, for it would not be proper to accompany the King in everyday dress. And I offered this mortification for the sick. (183)
*At that time the Congregation was divided into two choirs, the so-called director sisters and coadjutor sisters. The membership to one or the other was decided by the Congregation's governing body on the basis of the candidate's intellectual level, age, and abilities. The director sisters' task was to manage the Congregation and the penitents' home. The coadjutor sisters did the manual work and served as helpers to the director sisters, especially in the area of physical labor.

OCT 3 - GROW IN LOVE
The Queen of Peace speaks of love today :
Dear children, I desire that you grow in love. Just as a flower cannot grow without water, so you cannot grow without God's grace. Everyday, then, you should ask God for his blessing so that you can grow normally and that your actions will be in union with his will (Weekly Message April 10, 1986).
In Luke's gospel, Christ extends his love to a leper:
Once, when he was in one of the cities, there was a man covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean." Then Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I do choose. Be made clean." Immediately the leprosy left him (Lk 5:12-13).
Reflection:
Because it was often highly contagious and there was no known cure, leprosy was feared disease. (Sometimes called Hansen's disease, leprosy still exists today in a less contagious, treatable form.)
To prevent the spread of infection, the priests monitored the disease, banishing, from the community those persons whose leprosy was active and readmitting lepers whose disease was in remission. Lepers were considered untouchable since people feared contracting their disease. Yet Jesus reached out and touched this leper out of love, and the man was healed .
We may consider certain people untouchable or repulsive, yet Christ and his Mother call us to reach out and touch them with God's love so that we may both be healed.
Application:
Look about today for those who are in special need of your care and concern, even "the least of God's children." Keep before Christ a prayer intention for the most rejected and despised of his people.
Message to littlest of servants October 2, 2008
While in Church this morning as I was leaving the HEAVENLY FATHER spoke to me. HE told me that the cleansing of the world was about to begin and it would not stop until the world was returned to its original state as HE intended it to be. That HE could no longer tolerate mankind's sins which have become so great that they demand HIS JUSTICE.
HE told me that many would be taken in these coming chastisements and that if they have failed to listen to the CALL OF HEAVEN they would be caught unprepared and would enter the fires of hell forever. HE said that HE has sent prophet after prophet including the greatest one OUR LADY, to warn us but we have ignored them and have treated them as the prophets of old were treated. That we have laughed at them and mocked them even calling them crazy.
I then saw in a vision the state of Florida and the vision disappeared and then I saw another vision almost immediately and it was the map of the United States and Florida was gone.
The ETERNAL FATHER spoke and told me that Florida would soon be completely covered by water and that this would happen suddenly and without warning. Many, HE said, would be caught unprepared to meet HIS SON in JUDGMENT. HE then asked that we pray for the people of Florida so more would convert and be ready to stand in judgment.

SEPT. 30, 2008- - -2 p.m. L. began to receive a message from God and said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood." (and other various prayers of testing)
Then God spoke, "An erupting volcano will blow firey lava high into the sky while molten lava runs down its sides. The fire will flow quickly through cities, towns and villages before it rides on the water of streams, creeks, lakes and rivers. It will leave a path of death and total destruction.
What goes up comes down-- the lava blown into the sky will be carried far and wide by the winds. As it runs over waterfalls it will again settle on dry, parched land. Uncontrollable fires will be abundant nearly everywhere.

James Wesly Smith is an attorney and writer/producer of more than 30 audio visual film projects on the Black Genesis of Christianity, with an emphasis on the Early African Liturgical Churches. His 30 year effort resulted in the reference tome, Black Saints, Mystics, Holy Folk, (Ancient African Liturgical Church) Volume I, and II detailing Black involvement in the Church from before 1 A.D.
