JESUS:
My children, it's time to fortify and to strengthen your relationship with Me. In fact, only this sacred bond can save you for what is coming by enabling you to see your mission through to a successful conclusion.
Only you, through this relationship, will be the sturdy support around the pillars of My Church.
Each day kneel down to contemplate My holy picture, My Icons and those of My Holy Mother to bring you closer to Me and the Father; My Spirit will accomplish the rest.
You only need constancy: a constancy of Love!
There is no more time to hesitate! Join hands as the children you were, sing My glory and I shall pour on you myriads of graces; in proportion to the many who refuse them, the many more I shall pour on the little remnant giving Me their YES!
Only this daily bond of Love will make you better than you could possibly imagine; and it's in this way only that you will be truly prepared and will thus be able to help all those who'll then come to you.
Do your utmost for the enemy of souls does everything to prevent you from this. Combat, children of My Heart, for the eternal reward!

Son, the time has come. Messages are becoming scarcer because all manner of warning has already been given in advance.
There is no more need to warn as the time of fulfillment of prophecies has already arrived. What can be done is only to watch, pray, prepare and cope up with what is coming. Do whatever you think can help mitigate the difficulties of life in the coming days. Ask me for direction each step of the way and you will not be lost.
The enemy of the soul (Anti-Christ) is coming into the scene and will make his presence known. You know the scriptures. You know very well what must be said and done.
Each day that passes will see the signs becoming more visible. There will be no more denying the fact that the tribulation has arrived.
But do not lose hope. Your duty is not to bring messages of doom but of hope. Encourage the faithful to remain true to their faith until the end or until my rescuing angels pick them up and bring them to the place of safety. Simply prepare your soul to remain without spot and wrinkle and then leave the rest to me.

Yes, My son, begin this fight but do it in Truth for discipline will bring My House back into what I wish it to be. Discipline trains the body and soul to follow Me in Truth. Without discipline you cannot fight against self. You must learn to discipline the body for this is the desire of the soul and this is true dying to self. It takes discipline to fast, to pray and to deny self these are all parts of discipline and without it you will never truly find Me, you will simply find the desires of self.
Can you understand these things that I have been drawing you towards? Can you see now what I have been asking of you? You must continue this fight in order to do what I ask of you. I Love you.

My servant, I Love you. I am the Word, hear Me. I am in God and with God. I am the Word of God. The Word is like the seed of the Promise of God that springs into Life where it is planted. Water the seed that is within you and let it grow into abundant fruit. Love is like Truth.
It must be tended and watered like the seeds. Love and Truth must be lived, they cannot sit idle. Love must be given and lived in every circumstance. Many do not know this and fail to practice it. Teach all to Love for the Word is Love.
Truth is to be lived. I am the Truth, live Me. When the Truth is planted within you do not let it die. Live the Truth and you will see many things that you have not seen before.
Come, My little children, and see these Words; see them for what they are and not what you can make out of them.
Take Love. Love is a thing that you do; it cannot sit idle. Love must seek out those who do not know. The Love in you must not rest while someone is to be Loved. Is this not about Love?
31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy Angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:31-46
Here, Jesus speaks of the self-less Love that we must have. The reading is not a threat but it is a teaching on HOW to Love and how to practice it. Jesus seems to be saying that Love is a lifelong commitment; it cannot be set down and picked up again at will. He calls us to give Love the priority in our lives for, surely, it is Love that we do when we feed the hungry. Love is not just doing Love when it comes in front of us and we have no choice. No, it is like Mother Teresa.
She left everything and went out to Love. We, too, can find ways to Love by changing our lives and using the time that we now spend in selfish pursuits to bring Love to others. This Message is a call to Love, to be in Truth and to spread that Love in Truth for there are many who do not know that there is GOOD NEWS.

Dying To Self

Jesus often speaks of dying to self in the Messages of Love. He speaks of it as a precious commodity that we must have in the Journey to Love. He seems to put great store on it. We all complain inwardly and immediately think that something else must be given up and that there could not be much more to give. To follow Jesus, we must be willing to give up everything that is not of Him because we cannot change God, it is we who must change.
Dying to self is the way that we come to Jesus; it is the road or path to Him. There is no other way. How can we love like He wants us to if we are full of self?
How can we serve others if we are not willing to die to the I don’t want to do thisin our lives so that self wins and love dies.
It all makes perfect sense to love is to give of ones self.
Many blood donors are familiar with the story of the pelican mother who makes herself bleed to feed her offspring. She pierced herself to feed them her blood when there was nothing to give them to keep them alive. She died to herself in the sense that she was willing to take the pain of that wound – and beyond that, the scar - to feed her children, even though she may die of her own wound. Her dying to self secured the lives of her children.
Jesus said:
24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
25 He who loves his life will lose it and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for Eternal Life.
26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me him My Father will honour. John 12:24-26
We must, in order to follow Jesus, become new. The old self cannot possibly continue to live while we are following Jesus. We, like the seed, must fall into the ground and die; it must begin the process of rebirth to be able to produce fruit. It cannot produce fruit if it remains in the state of a seed.
It needs roots to take up water and nutrients from the soil, a stem to reach up to the sun, it needs flowers to reproduce. It dies as a seed and is reborn as a plant; a different, new, thing.
The butterfly begins life as an egg from which a caterpillar is born; the caterpillar then begins the process of being totally transformed in the chrysalis stage and emerges as a butterfly.
In Jesus, we need to change our inward thought process. Where once we did not want to love another by giving of ourselves, the change must come where we serve without question to simply follow. Dying to self is the process whereby we learn how to love as Jesus wishes us to. Saint Margaret Mary understood this when she was being taught by Jesus how to love Him:
"In order to be like You, who are always alone in the Blessed Sacrament, I shall love solitude and try to converse with You as much as possible. Grant that my mind may not seek to know anything but You, that my heart may have no longings or desires but to love You. When I am obliged to take some comfort, I shall take care to see that it be pleasing to Your Heart. In my conversations, Oh Divine Word, I shall consecrate all my words to You so that You will not permit me to pronounce a single one which is not for Your glory....
When I am thirsty, I shall endure it in honour of the thirst You endured for the salvation of souls.... If by chance, I commit some fault, I shall humble myself and then take the opposite virtue from Your Heart, offering it to the Eternal Father in expiation for my failure. All this I intend to do, Oh Eucharistic Jesus, to unite myself to You in every action of the day." - Saint Margaret Mary

Dying to self does not happen overnight. But if we continue to ignore that dying to self is needed then we will spend a lifetime getting nowhere. In saying that we cannot die to self in one day is an insult to Jesus.
Do we not think that Jesus could help us? If we continue to allow self to dictate our lives then the longer we will not allow Jesus to dictate our lives. Like clutter, we must remove it so we can see around us.
Where Jesus is concerned, the greed in our lives is clutter. If we fall prey to greed then we cannot share, we cannot and will not see that sharing – giving up – is what Jesus wants of us. The greed clutters up our lives so much that we begin to believe that it is our right to have what we want – even though someone else has to do without. There will come a time that greed will blind us so much that we will not even see that it is one of the seven deadly sins.
Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities that interferes with the individual's recognition of the Grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as vanity.
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as wrath.
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called avarice or covetousness.
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
These are some of the ways we can die to ourselves overnight. LOVE overcomes in the moment. We can die to self overnight by overcoming the moment with Jesus. Do not see the mountain but go and pick up the first stone.

Patrick:
Jesus, it just seems to be so hard to fight against all that comes against us. I know for myself that I think I am doing well and then, all of a sudden, I find that I have lost the resolve to fight without noticing it happen. This could be over days or weeks and it is as if I suddenly wake up and realise that I am back in my old ways. How can we stop this happening?
Jesus:
As I have told you, without discipline you cannot overcome these things. You must discipline the body so that you may recognise something that is not of Me. If you only remain with Me for part of the day, then you will not notice. You cannot live in the ways of the world and the Ways of your God for, dirty water and clean water cannot flow from the same pipe.
You must simply look at the truth of your life and allow yourself to see the truth without justification. Unless you are willing to look at the truth you will never follow Me in the Way that I have asked. Discipline is what is needed: you cannot follow Me without discipline.
My discipline comes from spending time with Me in prayer where you will gain the Graces that will allow you to begin this Journey. Do not allow self to react in the ways of lucifer but teach self to react in the Ways of your God.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Look in truth at these Words and ask yourself the question; am I truly following the Path of Truth that Jesus has set before me or am I blinding myself to the truth?
Discipline must take over at this point; you must discipline the body and mind into the
Ways of your God. If you are not willing to discipline yourself then you will never truly know My Ways. Without discipline, you will not be able to pray, fast, sacrifice or love your neighbour for, the body and mind will take these from you and lessen My Truth with the new ageteachings.
You will begin to believe that God would not ask these things of you and so you shall fall ever further away from the Truth. Your belief in Me will become a watered down version of the Truth and you shall embrace the new agedoctrines that are preached in these times.
Discipline is important. I, too, disciplined Myself for I, too, had the desires of self when I took on human form and walked this earth. I came to show you that it could be done. Trust in Me and follow in My Footsteps and you shall reach your goal.
Understand these Words that I speak and do not complicate them for this, too, is a way that self can take you away from My Words.
I Love you and I ask that you do likewise with your brothers and sisters. Do not allow human love to enter for remember, the evil one has lain many traps for you. See all peoples as My children and love them in this way. I Love you.
Patrick:
I know, Jesus, it is so easy to say that we will do these things but, as I have seen so many times in the past, we begin with a full heart, really trying to go against self but within a week it is all but lost.
So many things seem to come against you when you try to put a foot upon this Path; everything comes to change your mind and becomes more difficult as each day passes.
Jesus:
As soon as you decide to walk the path of self-dying the evil one will rush in to break you. It is he who places the obstacles in your way in order to take you away from Me. You must realise that you are in a spiritual battle and be willing to take on this battle. Each time you overcome the temptations of the evil one, you will become stronger and so the battle will become much easier.
Never rush into this battle by taking on too much at once for you will surely feel overwhelmed. Begin small and progress towards Me in a Way of Peace. Begin by dying to one sin and come to Me in prayer each day. This is a good beginning and you will progress quickly for I will inspire you each step of the way. I Love you.
Truth is what I call for, Truth is what is expected of My followers! The denial of self can only be accomplished through Truth. If you are not willing to look at the Truth then you will never succeed in the task of dying to self. This world that you live in promotes self-glorification and what self can gain. My Truth is the opposite of this: humility and denial. If you are not willing to follow Me in this Way then you are only lying to yourselves. This world is about gaining your place in the of .
See how short your lives are and how little time you have to come to Me. Children, I plead with you to look at the Truth and begin the struggle of pulling away from this world and come follow Me.
Patrick:
Jesus, I know what You are saying in these Words but I find it hard to do the things that You say. There always seems to be something to take us away from what You were asking. We start with a good heart and, before we know it, we are involved in things that You have not asked of us.
For instance, these Words that you have asked me to take; there always seems to be something that comes up that I have to do and so I am taken away from what You have asked.
Jesus:
As I have told you, My son, it takes discipline to follow Me. You must discipline yourself into seeing that I am the most important thing in your life and if anyone asks you to do something then you must say, Jesus has asked me to do something and I must fulfil what He has asked me before I can do anything else,and My children will understand. Discipline yourself and you will find Truth, Peace and Joy. I Love you.
Patrick:
It is so easy to get caught up in the ways of this world. It is so easy to deny the existence of God. It is so easy to do anything that this world calls us to do but it is so hard to follow Jesus in Truth.
Yes, we can follow by going to Mass on Sunday and then forgetting about Him until the next Sunday but that is not the Way of Truth. The Way of Truth is allowing Jesus to be an integral part of our lives; allowing Him to be present at all stages of our day, not just once a week.
At the end of the day, we are only on this earth for a short period of time and we must all die and eternity will begin. Eternity has no number but if we say, for example, eternity lasts for one hundred billion years and we have an average of seventy years to decide where we want to spend our eternity, it is not very long. As each day passes our time is running out to make that decision.
When we look and see how many people have gone before us, yet, we think that it will never happen to us and as soon as we die we will stand in judgement and Jesus will say, Well done, good and faithful servant, come in to My Father's Kingdom.
Or, we will look at ourselves and look at the sin in our lives and want to cleanse ourselves in Purgatory; or God will say Go, depart from Me, you wicked servant,and hell will be our final destination - God forbid! We must try our hardest to break away from the thinking of this world and its me, me philosophy.
Jesus:
Truth is what I seek in My followers! To follow Me in Truth, you must see the good in all My children and love them as you would love Me, your God. You must always be willing to speak truth, not in judgement but in compassion, hoping that they receive and take on the Grace that will be given through your sacrifice of speaking truth.
The world will hate you for standing up for the Truth for it first hated Me for I am the Truth and it will hate you for standing up for Me. You must be willing to trust in Me no matter what this world will throw at you for, in truth, you will always have trust.
My Love for you, My children, is great and My desire is that you be with Me in My Father’s Kingdom. Work tirelessly and relentlessly to gain that place, My children. I Love you, I Love you, I Love you.

Jesus:
My little children, to live in the Truth you must always be willing to look for the Truth and not make excuses to justify your unwillingness to live in the Truth. So many excuses I hear in these times in the ways that My children justify sin. Look at your lives and see how many things that you justify that are not of Me. You look for wealth to fulfil the greed of self but what good will it do you when you enter Life Eternal? Gather treasure in Heaven, children, not upon this earth.
The earth will offer you false joy, false happiness, false love. But, I will offer you true Joy, true Happiness and true Love. You will never find the peace that you seek through the ways of this earth. True Peace can only be found by coming to know Me and My Ways. I Love you, My beloved children, and I say, come to Me all you who labour and you shall find rest. I Love you, My little children, I Love you.

Truth is what I seek from My children. To live in the Truth you must be willing to die to the things of this world that lead you away from Me. In these Words that I speak to you, I lead you on a Path that will bring you into the Truth. You must be willing to bring Truth into every part of your lives. If you are not willing to do this then you will never find the true Path that leads to Me.
Dying to self is the only way to find Me for self will always be a barrier that will block My Light from shining upon you. Truth is what I seek, My children, for it is in Truth that you will find Me and be willing to do My Work for My lost and lonely children are crying out to Me for help.
Come, My beloved children, and listen to My Words for they are a call from My Heart seeking workers to go out into the Vineyard. I Love you, My beloved children, I Love you, please listen to My calls. I Love you.

Dear Friends,
Now as Jesus approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening. They told him, Jesus of Nazareth is passing by. He shouted, Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me! The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, Son of David, have pity on me!
Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, What do you want me to do for you? He replied, Lord, please let me see. Jesus told him, Have sight; your faith has saved you. He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God. When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God. Luke 18: 35 43
Here is another message of Our Lord to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words, There are many people who suffer these days. There are many sicknesses and there are many who are overstressed and spiritually empty. If they come to Me and ask for My help, I will heal them and give them My love and My peace.
I healed many people when I was on earth. All those who came to Me to ask for a healing, I gave it to them.
This blind man, who sat by the roadside and shouted while I was passing by, was healed by My few words. If I saw they had faith in Me, I always gave them the healing they needed. Blindness is a great sickness and I restored the sight to many people in Israel. Blindness is also a symbol of darkness of the spirit for a person who does not have faith.
Many people have rejected Me with the result that they are spiritually blind and in need of the great gift of faith. Many need an increase of faith because their faith is weak.
The greatest gift that the world needs today is faith, faith in Me, their Saviour, and the strength to follow Me every day. If you pray for your family, your friends and relatives, I will answer your prayer. I will give them this precious gift that they may have the gift to believe in Me and give their lives to Me.
All of you, who believe, do not forget to ask for an increase of faith so that your faith will be strong to reject everything that is contrary to the Bible and what My Church teaches. You need strong faith to follow Me every day. Pray, My friends, that your love for Me may not become cold and that our relationship will grow every day. I bless you all.

Christina relates, Our Blessed Mother started to speak to me. I was listening to Her and forgetting to write. Then there was a silence. Then, Our Holy Mother said, My Child, I desire you to write.
My Children, I am your Mother of Truth and Love. I plead with you to read the signs of your times. The world is on the brink of its destruction. The evil one is on every doorstep. Your hearts are full of aggravation concerning the things of the world and who is right or wrong. Are you unable to recognize all the signs that are before your eyes?
My House of Prayer, My message and My messenger are under attack. My messenger endures beyond human endurance. She will be upheld in the Light of God in Truth. You, My Children, who desire to continue to pull My House of Prayer apart through lies will endure the justice of God for the loss of millions of souls. God has put that house there to save many millions of souls especially the souls of the youth. My children, by responding now the multitude of souls may still be saved.
The third world war is imminent. Its destruction is unthinkable. So many of you occupy your hearts in condemnation of My children who uphold My message in the most horrible circumstances.
I invite you through My call of love and truth and to enter My Confraternity in Love and Peace surrendering to do all that is possible to protect My messenger. Otherwise all will be lost in My plan for Ireland and the world, because God has chosen Christina to guide you through His guidance in the times that are at hand: you will need her.
Many of the youth of the world may be lost through your disbelief in responding to My call. God will not fulfill My call for souls without My messengers safety and that too is becoming unsure. I plead with you to respond before it has gone past the hour.
The anti-christ is drawing his plan together and drawing with him a multitude of souls; all the dangers I have warned you about are with you. How can you remain deaf and blind to all I have called you to do in the past twenty years? How can you run from your Lord who is Truth and from your Mother who loves you and desires to protect you in soul and body. I bless you, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
My understanding at the time of the message given was that if people respond now by entering Our Holy Mother’s Confraternity in Love and Peace in all that She has requested, the millions of souls can still be saved. (Christina)

Anna Marie: My Lord I hear you calling. My Lord are you Father, Son or Holy Spirit?
Jesus: Dear one, it is I your Savior Jesus of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Anna Marie: Yes Jesus may I ask, will you bow down and worship God your Eternal and Holy Father who is the Alpha and
Omega, the Creator of all life, of all that is seen and unseen?
Jesus: Yes my dear one, I your Savior Jesus will now and will always bow down and adore my Holy, Merciful and Eternal, Loving Father who is the Alpha and Omega, Who is the Creator of all living things seen and unseen.
Anna Marie: Yes dear Jesus, please speak for your very sinful and lazy servant is listening. (Holy Spirit, I surrender and consecrate my hearing to you my beloved, please allow me to serve my Savior in accordance to God the Father’s will. Amen.)
Jesus: Little one, I have called you this evening to ask that you pray for your nation.
There is a battle of good and evil being waged in your nation and without tremendous prayers and sufferings, sacrifices; the outcome will again mean war.
Wars are the outcome, stemming from evil. Wars have been fought over money, land, riches, and even smaller issues. Today your nation is in a battle over MORALITY. Without strong convictions of holiness, a country can fall due to its IMMORAL PRACTICES.
Jesus: For this reason, I ask you and all Apostles around the world to begin a Novena of Prayer for MORALITY AND HOLINESS to be restored in all lands. I wish the Novena to begin soon and ask you to listen to my Angels and My Mother as you prepare for this month of prayer prior to my holy Advent season.
Take the month of November and pray daily for morality. For anyone who wishes to pray now, your Savior will bless them with a very special spiritual gift from My loving Sacred Heart.
Jesus: Oh my children, if only you could see how many of my littlest children are being abused by sexual predators, your eyes would fill of tears, as do mine. How can you save the smallest treasures of life, when so many are being destroyed?
How can your nation prevail in sin, without firm punishment from my Father’s Justice. Repent and pray! Pray for yourselves, pray for your families, pray for your government leaders, your politicians, your justices, your communities, your states and your nations. Pray my beloved children and do not cease to pray for all those who seek sinful pleasures instead of a holy life due to sin and greed!
Jesus: Thank you my beloved ones. Thank you for your quick response. Thank you little daughter for sharing My message with others. Your loving Savior, Jesus of Nazareth.

Regard the work of Thy own hands. Safeguard in our homes the domestic virtues, for these alone will ensure us harmony and peace.

Oct 17 - THE SECRETS
During one apparition , Our Lady showed Mirjana the first secret, and saw the earth desolate. The Virgin said :
It is the upheaval of a region of the world. In the world there is so much sin. What can I do, if you do not help me?
Remember that I love you. God does not have a hard heart. But look around you and see what men do, for then you will no longer say that God's heart is hard, How many people come to church , to the house of God, with respect, strong faith, and a love for God? Very few! Now you have a time of grace and conversion. It is necessary to use it well (Special Message October 25, 1985).
And from Luke's gospel, Christ says :
There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and the earth distress among nations confused by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will faint form fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory, Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near (Lk 21 :25-28).
Reflection :
In November of f1988, the Dallas Morning News ran a front-page story about a house that burned down, killing 5 people. What made it especially tragic was that Sonny Simpson, the house's owner, had been planning for 2 weeks two install a smoke alarm. Simpson told reporters that it was something that he kept putting off because he was too busy with other things.
That tragic story hits close to home. There are so many things we want to do, but we keep putting them. Off. But there is one thing we must not put off preparation for the Lord's final coming. For some it will be a time of " fear and foreboding, » yet others are to " strand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is at hand. » It all depends on one's spiritual preparedness.
The chastisements spoken of In the Medjugorje secrets are not planned punishments from an angry God, but the final consequences of sin and evil in the world. Like a defective boiler building up with steam, it will eventually blow. Spiritual laws cannot be continuously violated any more than the laws of nature. It is the love and mercy of God that has sent the Blessed Virgin into the world to release the building pressure of sin.
But, as she has said many times, she cannot do it alone. She must have our prayers and sacrifices. "What can I do, » she says today, " if you do not help me?"

I wish that all families consecrate themselves to the Sacred Heart each day, for I am very happy when the whole family comes together to pray. In the morning, pray for half an hour (Locutionists Jelena & Mirijana Oct 20, 1983).
The Sacred Heart is the powerful symbol of Christ's love for us. He asks us to extend that love to others:
"I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another" (Jn13;34).
Reflection:
St. Margaret Mary was born in France in 1647. She joined the Sisters of the Visitation and was later graced with mystical revelations from Christ, who charged her with spreading devotion to his Sacred Heart. Our Lady has referred to this devotion a number of times in Medjugorje, as we see in today's message.

You may wish to place an image of the Sacred Heart in your home, as well as offer a prayer to the Heart of Jesus each day. James Wesly Smith is an attorney and writer/producer of more than 30 audio visual film projects on the Black Genesis of Christianity, with an emphasis on the Early African Liturgical Churches.
