Constantine‘s reign set me free. I died peacefully in the monastery. I worked many miracles through the grace of God. Martyred atwithout the effusion of blood) in Kemet. 5 Dec. ,Coptic Calendar.
Poemen (Pimen) the Great. I was called Prince of the Desert, and Chief of Solitaries. The sunrise of my life came in Kemet. I have two brothers, Anub and Paes withothers and my brothers, we became monks in the Scete desert.
Bedouins drove us out however. So we took up residence at the temple of Terrnuth. We moved to Diolchus, when my brother Anub died, I became abbot of the community.
The Scete life started to become lax. I renewed it. I died in 451 A.D. 27 Aug, Roman Rite,

The Father
Son, always keep in mind the sacrifice of Jesus to free man from the penalties that await him because of sins. His sacrificial death on the cross is the ransom paid to redeem mankind from the pain of eternal suffering. Thru Him, many souls were spared from Gehenna.
He will come again to save those who are waiting for Him and fulfill the promises He made "that there are many mansions where the worthy ones will dwell in complete peace and happiness.
Remain vigilant to keep bright the light in the soul. The Groom will seek out the light as beacon for Him to come into your place and fetch you. Always keep watch for you do not know the day nor the hour.

Here is a dream I had sometime ago on the subject of light. Lec
A few minutes before I woke up around 2:30 am to 3:00 am to visit the bathroom, I had the dream. I believe the timing was perfect for me to remember the dream and what I heard. I saw in my dream a female first cousin now an LA resident as she spoke to me these words "THE RAPTURE IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE LIGHT IN THEIR BODIES".
For interpretation, I sought my index cards, and yes I found a scribbled note taken from Luke 11:36 of the Good News Bible which says "If your whole body is full of light with no part of it in darkness, it will be bright all over, as when a lamp shines on you with its brightness Also in Matthew 5:14-16 (Good News Bible- You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on a lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.
My testimony about the Light WHY THE NEED TO STAY IN THE STATE OF GRACE Dangers to the Soul and the Body My Testimony By Lec
Note: This one episode in my life helped me tremendously in deliberate efforts to try to always stay in the state of grace.
There are negative consequences of being not into it and great benefits of staying within grace. Anytime in the course of day I feel like I am not in grace, I withdraw to my quiet self, pray the Lord's Prayer,
An Act of Contrition and try to recall any transgression done no matter how seemingly small like for instance ill remarks against on oficemate, or a judgmental speech even against people we hardly know, for example, people in government and in politics and then ask the Lord for pardon. Doing so always results in peace descending in my heart.
Here is my true account Back in the 90s we lived in a house in a Manila suburb with a female helper from the province. We didn't know anything about this girl,
16 at that time. One day the girl approached me and told me of an incredible tale. She confessed to me that she gets almost daily visitations from entities of the spiritual realm and they are not one or two or three but a horde with a prominent figure which she described as a lady in white.
What she told me next completely got me amazed. By the way, our house then was a two story modest apartment type building. She said that whenever I come downstairs, the malignant entities which regularly visit her all at once fled away. I asked why and how. She said that my whole body was encased in a brilliant white light like the sun which the entities could not bear to see.
But then she also related that whenever I had a quarrel with words with my wife and it was my fault, the light in my body gets dimmed and at these moments the evil spirits did not flee and can get near me.
She said however that this condition of diminished light was only temporary. She added that even if we had a quarrel and it was not my fault, the bright light stays. The loss of light was only for a short duration. I told her, whenever I get upstairs in the room, I see to it that I pray, especially the prayer of Contrition, the Lord's Prayer and others which I regularly recite.
This is the experience why I'm always emphatic in all my sharing about prayers as the best means to get into the Grace of God as well as His protective shield. My helper can't simply invent that kind of tale which I believe had sound spiritual basis. That's the same reason for my frequent mention of staying in the Grace of God.
My helper also saw my Guardian Angel whom she described as an entity with pure white wings. This went on for quite sometime that every time I come home from work, she told me of her usual private remarks "HERE COMES THE SUN".
I'm still imperfect and prone to sin after all these years of having embraced the spiritual life. I always remember this episode though. The light gets dimmed whenever we sin no matter how puny we may think it is and brightens when we acknowledge and then repent from our transgressions. This goes to prove that God is indeed Holy and we cannot get to him unless we shed our sins through acknowledgement and confession.
I tried a little investigation as to the whys and wherefores surrounding the girl. She admitted to me that back in her hometown she was taught witchcraft and became a practicing witch. She related that one day, something like a small whirlwind enveloped her and that's the time she began seeing what others and we cannot see...the world of the spirit entities.
I then tried the exorcism prayers for her. She told me later how it felt like all her hairs getting pulled out. I saw how her complexion turned pale but after the exorcism she appeared to have regained her old natural self.
I was aghast after seeing the very first Harry Potter movie because of this encounter. I never expected it like it was...a movie showing the way to our young people and subliminally telling them to engage in witchcraft (School of Hogwarts) that it is something thrilling and harmless. But now I must say, Harry Potter is the work of the devil. The popularity only demonstrate how many people had decided to believe the theme of this diabolical movie. How many young people did you see reading the Harry potter books. And this phenomenon is worldwide. See how many people got deceived!
Witchcraft is abominable in the Lord's sight.
Punishment extends up to the fourth generation the Old Testament says.

Halloween is only 2 days away per this write up. It surprises me how parents up to this time remain ignorant of the perils of evil. In the malls, in TV, at Halloween parties , at this time of the year, it is not unusual to see children dressed up like little devils, ugly witches, zombies and all that denizens of the underworld. Are the parents unknowingly placing their children in the devil's influence by dressing them like one? Are they not making the devil happy by making their children look like him?

Gehenna gehenna? This Greek word, as all authorities admit, is derived from the name of the narrow, rocky Valley of Hinnom which lay just outside Jerusalem. It was the place where refuse was constantly burned up. Trash, filth, and the dead bodies of animals and despised criminals were thrown into the fires of gehenna, or the Valley of Hinnom. Ordinarily, everything thrown into this valley was destroyed by fire completely burned up. Therefore, Christ used gehenna to picture the terrible fate of unrepentant sinners!

Dear Friends,
"Then Pilate took Jesus and had him scourged. And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and placed it on his head, and clothed him in a purple cloak, and they came to him and said, 'Hail, King of the Jews!' And they struck him repeatedly.
Once more Pilate went out and said to them, 'Look, I am bringing him out to you, so that you may know that I find no guilt in him. So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple cloak. And he said to them, 'Behold, the man!' When the chief priests and the guards saw him they cried out, 'Crucify him, crucify him!'" John 19: 1 - 6
Here is another message from Jesus to Joseph. Our Lord spoke to him in these words, "I suffered very much during My Passion. The worst suffering was the scourging. My body was cut up all over and the blood poured from all these wounds. I came very near to death from the many blows of the whips.
The soldiers did not spare Me and they hit Me many more times than was customary. The whipping was atrocious and very painful. I accepted all this suffering for your salvation, My brothers and sisters. I agreed to go through all that out of love for you.
They also crowned Me with thorns. They drove these long thorns into My head and that too was very painful. I had a terrible headache and blood flowed over My face and into My eyes. It is because of your pride that I suffered this great pain in My head. I prayed that you all be humble of heart and obey Our Heavenly Father.
Although I am the Messiah and the Son of God, I was tortured and killed. This is because I took upon Myself all your sins committed until the end of the world. There are so many horrible sins committed against God today and many in their pride never ask for pardon for these sins.
Many governments pass laws allowing these grievous sins to take place in their countries. Here are some of these sins: abortion, euthanasia, homosexual marriages, the morning after pill, etc. Those governments share in those sins too. Pray that soon these abominations will end and all will live according to the will of the Father. He gave you the Ten Commandments and all are called to follow them. I died to save you."

Dear Friends,
Then Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, It is written, My House shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves. And every day he was teaching in the temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words. Luke 19: 45 48
I offer another message of Our Lord to Joseph. Our Lord Jesus spoke to him in these words, I loved to go to the Temple in Jerusalem and since I was 12 years old, I would go at least once a year. It was the most holy place in all of Israel where the people offered sacrifices to the Father for various reasons. I loved to go to the Temple and teach the people about My Father and about what all are to do to worship Him and to honor Him.
The Temple being a holy building was to be respected and it was to be a house of prayer but many people were buying and selling there. I was angry that the people should use the Temple to do such things. It became just like a store. I took a whip and I chased these people who were doing this. I told them that they will not make of My Father's House a house of thieves.
Today many of the Houses of prayer have become something similar. One would thing that it was a market or a public hall. The people talk all over the Church. They do not recognize that I am there in the tabernacle and few genuflect. They do not see that the Church is a holy place and all should be silent and recollected.
They should come to church to visit Me and to pray, not to chat aloud with friends and neighbours. When will the Christians have respect for Me? Do you not know that I am truly present in the Eucharist? Many are acting as though they did not believe in Me. It is time that all who come to Church accept that I am present there and come to pray and to respect Me.
My dear beloved brothers and sisters, I love you and I expect you to love Me in return. Do not follow the others by showing disrespect for Your Saviour but show Him how much you love Him by respecting the house where He lives. I bless you all.

Reflection:
People have searched for happiness in many ways, often oblivious to the fact that it can only truly be found in the heart of God. One amusing story illustrates :
An Englishman, a Frenchman, and a Cuban were trying to define true happiness. " True happiness, " said the Englishman, " is when you return home tired after work and find a gin tonic waiting for you. " You English have no romance, " countered the Frenchman. "
True happiness is when you go on a business trip, find a pretty girl who entertains you, and then you part without regrets. " " You are both wrong, " said the Cuban. And in the gospel, Christ also promises rest :
Come to me, all of you who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Mt 11 :28-30).
Refection :
One of the joys of Christianity is that Christ not only offers us his strength when we are weary, but also his rest and peace when we are tired. But our attitude plays an important part in this, as the following story illustrates.
A company of pilgrims were on a road, all carrying a burden of some sort. Yet they bore them cheerfully, thinking more of the purpose of their journey than of its hardships, as they went along together singing. An angel joined the little band, and passing from one to the other, threw into each of the burdens a couple of little white seeds.
Soon the seeds began to sprout, until they became a pair of glorious wings which carried each traveler, burden and all, along the dusty road. Later on, a similar party was travelling on the same road, with downcast faces, and greatly complaining of the heavy burdens they carried. The angel passed again but left them with no gift of wings. " Why did you not give them wings? " he was asked. " They look
so downcast and gloomy, surely they need them more than the others. " " I have only the seeds, " replied
the angel, " and the seeds will not grow unless they have the right soil. They will flourish only in cheerfulness and helpfulness, but will perish at once in that atmosphere of grumbling. "
Application:
When next you feel weary and exhausted, ask the Lord with confidence and joy for his rest and peace. Let the words of Our Lady in today's message refresh you.
