Abuna (Frumentius) of Ethiopia. I was born at Tyre (modern Sur, Lebanon), one of the Apostles to Ethiopia (after St. Matthew); Abuna of Ethiopia; and the Father of Ethiopia.
In the Western liturgical church, my feast day is 27 Oct. Aedeius is my brother. I was a student of Meropius.
On a Red Sea ship cruise, a vessel wrecked on the Abbyssinian shoreline. My brother and I survived. Soldiers took us to the King of Axum. We were unable to return home, so we joined the court with myself gaining a position like a secretary, or minister.
The King died. We became members of the succeeding Queen's court. She allowed us to preach Christ, the knowledge of whom had been previously brought by the Eunuch, and Apostles Phillip, Mathew, and Nathaniel.
I asked another African, Patriarch Athanasius of Alexandria, to provide missionaries from his headquarters (see). He complied. I was later consecrated bishop of Ethiopia.
Through God’s grace, Ethiopian princes Ezana and Sheazana converted. I died peacefully around 380 A.D.
Aburom, Arianus (Aberoh) with Atom. We are brother martyrs, living at Gamnudi, Kemet. Persecutions saw us flee to Farama, Kemet. At Alexandria, authorities arrested and tortured us. The prefect released us, however. We traveled to Baramon, and authorities beheaded. 2 July. Coptic Calendar.

Dear Friends,
When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean. He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, I will do it. Be made clean. His leprosy was cleansed immediately. Then Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them. Matthew 8:1 4

I send you again another message from Our Lord and Our God addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, During My life on earth, I met many people who had leprosy, a horrible disease that destroys the body and causes much pain.
Even now there still are many people who suffer from leprosy especially in the warmer countries. It was My joy to heal these poor people who had to be placed apart from the population. At one time I cured ten at once.
There is the leprosy of the body but I wish to remind you that there is also the leprosy of the soul. What I call leprosy of the soul is a person who is in mortal sin. Their spirit is attacked and it is dying. There is no real life left in that person. He or she lives in darkness and is lost. If I can heal the leprosy of the body, I can also heal the leprosy of the soul.
I will do it if you repent of all your sins. You will be cleansed of this horrible sickness and be renewed in spirit. This leprosy of the soul is not only found in warm countries but all over the world.
Mortal sin is much more horrible than the leprosy of the body because the spiritual kind can lead you to the eternal flames of hell. Even if you suffer the leprosy of the body, you can still be saved and go to heaven. I tell you the world is polluted with very serious sins and it is time that these come to repent by receiving the sacrament of penance. I am always ready to heal your spirit.

If you are struggling with temptations of the flesh, pray to the Infant Child Jesus of Prague. Put a statue next to your bed and kiss it every night before you go to sleep. This is a very powerful aid to help us combat our own evil desires and the evil spirits that may come against us.

Feb 10 - LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
Our Lady speaks of a profound love today :
Love your enemies. Banish from your heart all hatred, bitterness, and judgementalism. Instead, pray for your enemies and call a divine blessing upon them (Locutionists Jelena & Mirjana June 16, 1983).
The Virgin's message is an echo of Christ's words :
But I say to you that listen, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat, do not withhold even your shirt(Lk 6 :27-29).
Reflection :
This great love, which encompasses even our enemies is a direct Reflection of divine love. But rather than commenting on it, perhaps it would be more effective simply to see it in action, as others have practiced it in their own lives. The following story is from Ernest Gordon's account of life and death in a Japanese P.O.W. camp on the River Kwai :Father on, we were shunted onto a siding for a lengthy stay. We found ourselves on the same track with several carloads of Japanese wounded. They were on their own and without medical care. No longer fit for action, they had been packed into railway trucks which were being returned to Bangkok. Whenever one of them died en route, he was thrown off into the jungle. The ones who survived to reach Bangkok would presumably receive some form of medical treatment there.
But they were given none on the way.
Without a word, most of the officers in my section unbuckled their packs, took out part of their ration and rag or two, and with water canteens in their ration and a rag or two, and with water canteens in their hands went over to the Japanese train to help them.
Our guards tried to prevent us, bawling, "No gooda! No gooda! " But we ignored them and knelt by the side of the enemy to give them and knelt by the side of the enemy to give them food knelt by the side of the enemy to give them food and water, to clean and bind their wounds, to smile and say a kind word. Grateful cries of "Aragatto! " (thank you) followed us when we left.
An allied officer from another section of the train had been taking it all in. "What bloody fools you are he said to me. "Don't your realize that those are the enemy? "

Vision to littlest of servants February 9, 2009
While in Church this morning praying before the BLESSED SACRAMENT I received the following vision.
I saw a huge wave at the shoreline and it was as though the wave was standing still.
Standing in front of this huge wave I saw OUR LADY OF ALL GRACES and I knew that OUR LADY was preventing the wave from coming ashore.
BEHIND OUR LADY I saw the map of Florida and standing on this map were a crowd of people. I then was given the understanding that these people were PRAYING THE ROSARY AND THE DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET.
I then saw an Angel of Wrath above the huge wave and his sword was drawn and it was raised above his head and it looked as though he wanted to strike the wave with the sword but he couldn't do it.
I was then given the understanding that it WAS OUR LADY who was preventing the Angel from lowering his sword and exercising GOD'S JUSTICE.
WE MUST CONTINUE TO PRAY THE ROSARY AND THE DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET AND OFFER IT THROUGH THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY. SHE IS A POWERFUL INTERCESSOR. LOVE HER.

Attorney James Wesly Smith is a writer/producer of more than 30 audio visual film projects on the Black Genesis of Christianity, with an emphasis on the Early African Liturgical Churches. His 30 year effort resulted in the reference tome, Black Saints, Mystics, Holy Folk, (Ancient African Liturgical Church) Volume I, and II, detailing Black involvement in the Church from before 1 A.D.
