While in Church this morning, before Mass, praying in front of the BLESSED SACRAMENT I received the following message.
JESUS told me that the HIS faithful remnant is to prepare for the coming MAJOR EVENTS with much prayer and confession. Especially the ROSARY and the DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET and HOLY HOURS and ADORATION. That the time to flee to the places of refuge that have been prepared over many years is near. VERY NEAR!!!
After Mass while praying before the BLESSED SACRAMENT JESUS spoke again to me. HE said that a major event will occur sometime in December and that this event will shake the entire world ( I asked again for the month because I am not comfortable saying a month and JESUS repeated it again). That this event will change how people in the world view their lives.
Again we are to prepare for this with much prayer especially the ROSARY and the DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET and HOLY HOURS and ADORATION.

The Barber
A man went to a barber-shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about various things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God.
The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say."
"Why do you say that?" asked the client.
"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."
The client stopped for a moment, thinking, but he didn't want to respond so as not to cause an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just as he got out of the barber shop he saw a man in the street with long and unkempt hair and beard (it looked like it had been a long time since he had his cut, and he looked so untidy).
The client entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the barber. "I am a barber and here I am, I exist!"
"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like that man on the street." "Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the client. "That's the point. God does exist, what happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Dec 2 - LIVE THE MESSAGES
In October of 1990, Our Lady gave the following message to Ivan and Marija's prayer group:
Dear children, tonight I invite you to pray for peace. Dear children, I want to give you new messages. I am your Mother. I wish always to teach you something new, but first of all you must live the messages I have already given you. Then I can give you new messages (Visionary Prayer Group October 15, 1990).

One of the most beautiful and inspiring hymns ever written is a source of constant faith for many. "
Lead, Kindly Light " was composed by Cardinal John Henry Newman, and was the favorite of both Franklin Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi. The words go like this
Lead, kindly light, amid the encircling gloom, Lead thou me on;
The night is dark, and I am far from home;
Lead thou me on.
Keep thou my feet, I do not ask to see The distant scene; one step enough for me.
As we live Our Lady's messages, our spiritual journey depends on taking one step at a time, one day at a time. This hymn could very well be our daily prayer. We don't need to do everything at once.
The visionaries themselves were gradually led by the Virgin in living her messages. For instance, she initially asked them to pray the Creed and five Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and Glory Bes. Years later they graduated to three hours of prayer daily, including the Mass and full rosary.
What we need most is to keep our feet on the path, trust God, and keep making one step, and then another, as Our Lady leads us.
Application:
Today, pray that you may not become stymied in living the Virgin's messages, but continue to heed her urgings to move ahead one step at a time.

I gave My ALL for you; you, in return, give NOTHING to Me! You are a proud, egotistical people!!! At some time YOU will have to answer to the Father! Don't be surprised if He says to you- - -'out of My sight! I do not know- - -YOU'! You have become worthless in His sight!

SCHOOL DAYS
A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth grader at a public elementary school. However, when the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom before a teacher noticed and shoo'ed him outside, closing the door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered and stared at the closed doors.
Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his head, and said, "Don't feel bad fella'... they won't let ME in either."

These thoughts for a day are taken from a daily meditation book based on the Messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje by Father Richard J. Beyer,Ave Maria Press.
Dec 1 - SACRIFICE
Today the Blessed Mother advises us on how to begin Advent:
Prepare yourselves spiritually and mentally forChristmas. In your prayers, offer one especially for my intentions. Sacrifice something that you like the most (Visionary Prayer Group Dec 15, 1989).
St. Peter also speaks of spiritual preparations:
Rid your selves, therefore, of all malice, and all guile, insincerity, envy, and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation (1 Pt 2: 1-2).
Reflection:
During Advent of 1989, Our Lady asked Jelena's prayer group (and by extension all of us), to prepare spiritually for Christmas through prayer and sacrifice.
These two activities build on one another in several ways. First, sacrifice amplifies the power of prayer many times over. Second, Mary knows well that actions speak louder than words. She calls us to the specific action of making a special sacrifice for Advent, which will demonstrate our love for God in a concrete manner.
Third, sacrifice will help us to develop a healthy self-discipline, so that we will not jump at every stray impulse that comes our way. And last, the spiritual merit of any act of self denial will last for eternity.
The spiritual preparation for Christmas will clearly help in our growth toward holiness. This is a special time when we can sort out virtues form vices, as Peter recommends today: " Strip away everything deceitful pretenses, jealousies, and disparaging remarks of any kind. "
In the end, of course, Christmas will be meaningful and joyous for us to the extent that we have prepared ourselves spiritually for it, as Mary encourages us today.
Application:
With reference to Our Lady's message decide today what sacrifice you can offer to God during Advent. In what way can you deepen your prayer life during these four weeks?

Dear Friends,
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard. After agreeing with them for the usual daily wage, he sent them into the vineyard. Going out about nine o’clock, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and he said to them, ‘You too go into my vineyard, and I will give you what is just.’ So they went off. He went out again around noon, and around three o’clock, and did likewise. Going out about five o’clock, he found others standing around, and said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’
They answered, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘you too go into my vineyard.’ When it was evening the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Summon the laborers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and ending with the first.’ When those who had started about five o’clock came, each received the usual daily wage.” (Matthew 20:1–9)
Here is another message addressed to Joseph by Our Lord. Jesus spoke to him in these words, “I have often compared the Kingdom of heaven to a large vineyard. The owner of the vineyard hires people from early morning to evening to work there. When the day is over, he gives each one the same wage even though some worked only one hour.
By this parable I wish to show that people can enter the Kingdom at any time. One can come to believe in Me and join My Church whether you are young, middle aged or advanced in age. I accept anyone until the last minute. Those who enter the Kingdom at any time receive the same wage, which is life everlasting. All those who belong to the Kingdom will reach heaven and be with Me forever.
I wish to emphasize that you should not wait until the last minute because it might be too late. Come and enter the Kingdom as soon as possible and live in union with Me. Those who entered early should not be jealous of those who entered much later.
Instead all should be happy that more people enter the Kingdom and will be saved. Pray, My brothers and sisters, that all may come to believe in Me and accept Me and become a member of My Kingdom. Enter now, do not delay.”

Dear Friends,
Some Pharisees approached Jesus and tested him, saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any cause whatever?” Jesus said in reply, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.’... I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) and marries another commits adultery.” Matthew 19:3–9
I spent three days at the Trappist Monastery in Rogersville, N.B., where I was invited to lead a retreat of lay people. I spoke to them about the call of Jesus to holiness and how we are to stay away from all the evil movements of our time. I spoke about Wicca, which is found in many cities today.
I showed them the danger of New Age with ricki and “trame” and their false teachings. I also spoke about the evils of the ouija board, the horoscope, the enneagram, etc. We are called to follow Jesus and not to get involved in all this paganism. I arrived back home last evening after three busy days.
Here is another message from Our Lord to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, “Most of the people of the world are called to marriage, a marriage between a man and a woman. Our heavenly Father created every human being either male or female.
If they are My followers and want to marry, they are to receive the sacrament of Marriage, which I instituted for one man and one woman. They are to pledge their love for one another and live as one flesh. Besides being companions, the main reason for marriage is the procreating of children. It is in a stable marriage that children should grow with the love of both the father and the mother.
I told the people during My earthly life and I tell you today that divorce is not an option for a Christian. For whoever divorces his spouse and marries another commits adultery. I gave you My example of forgiveness when I forgave all those who crucified Me on the cross. You, too, if you are My followers will forgive your partner for any wrong that he or she has done against you. If you separate, you do not have the right to marry again because your marriage is for life.
It is sinful for any of My followers to live together without the sacrament of marriage. These concubinages offend God and they will not last, as I have not blessed this union. All are asked to receive the sacrament of marriage before they live together and I will bless that marriage and they will live in peace and happiness. I bless all true marriages.”

Fear not! God is your shelter (the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. God never fails. Don’t fail him. Call on Jesus. Jesus on the mainline, tell him what you want!
