Dear Friends,

Saul’s Baptism

There was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias, and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. He answered, Here I am, Lord. The Lord said to him, Get up and go to the street called Straight and ask at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is there praying, and (in a vision) he has seen a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, that he may regain his sight.

But Ananias replied, Lord, I have heard from many sources about this man, what evil things he has done to your holy ones in Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call upon your name. But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and Israelites, and I will show him what he will have to suffer for my name. So Ananias went and entered the house; laying his hands on him, he said, Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came, that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Immediately things like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight. He got up and was baptized, and when he had eaten, he recovered his strength. Acts 9:10-19

Here is a message of the Lord addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words,

Paul, who was known as Saul before his conversion, was a chosen instrument of mine to bring about the conversion of the people of the world. He had been persecuting the early Church but he had a great spiritual experience and became My follower. He was baptized by Ananias in Damascus a few days after he was knocked down. Paul worked very hard in spreading the Gospel and died a martyr’s death in Rome.

He is an example for all of you, of a person filled with the Holy Spirit and on fire to spread the Gospel throughout the world. He never looked back and worked with great determination to bring the people to Me. He established My Church in many areas of the known world. He is now with Me in heaven and praying for you all.

Come, My people, and receive the New Pentecost and be renewed completely in faith and love to follow Me and to work for Me.

HOW SWEET IS THE NIGHT THAT FINDS YOU WITH COMFORT AND PEACE. THE SOFT BREEZE KISSES YOUR CHEEKS AND IN MY GARDEN YOU FIND THE PEACE OF MY SON. I GREET YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR FIDELITY.

MY LITTLE CHILDREN, I HAVE SAID TO YOU THAT THE PRIESTS MUST BE IN SOLIDARITY. THEY MUST GRASP THE TRUTH AND HOLD IT FIRMLY. NO ONE SHOULD CONVINCE THEM TO COMPROMISE OR LESSEN ITS VALUE. I AM WAITING FOR THE MOMENT WHEN THEY SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THUS DECIDE TO HOLD ON TO IT. WHEN THEY DECIDE, I SHALL GATHER THEM, SEPARATING THEM ALSO LIKE THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS. THERE CAN BE NO PRIEST TO STAND ON HIS OWN FORMAT. THEY SHALL DECIDE TO STAND WITH AND FOR JESUS - OR NOT. HOW BLESSED WILL THOSE BE WHO CHOOSE SOLIDARITY.

I inform you, through My secretary Bronia, that My Coming foretold through prophets, and My Words of consolation to My Apostles that I will Return to earth in Glory, has come.

For years, My Words through the mouths of My chosen ones, the Messages from Heaven, were given to prepare humanity for My Return to earth, to shake the conscience of sinful humanity.

Without My Warning now, humanity will not come back to their Creator.
This My Father’s gift of My Warning, is My Father’s Love and Mercy for sinful, lost humanity.

I am coming Now, your loving, merciful GOD, but also a just Judge.

July 1. 2009

Jesus

My dear apostles, how grateful you will be that I have given you these opportunities to serve. You will look back at your time on earth and you will see that the opportunities I gave to you to serve others as apostles, were truly My greatest acts of mercy to you. You see that My service requires sacrifice. You see that often My service causes you suffering and perhaps you think that it would be easier to live your life without such a call to serve. It is true that often by rejecting My call to service in a day, you can diminish your immediate suffering. I acknowledge this truth. It is evident to all that service to Jesus Christ comes with an enhanced call to sacrifice.

While I acknowledge this, I ask that you, too, acknowledge this. You are giving Me your day and I am then taking you from things that would give you instant gratification and asking you to delay gratification for the sake of others. It can appear in these moments of your life, that you are giving something up. What you do not see is that the more you serve Me and the more you abandon yourself to My call, the more grace you receive.

You are giving up earthly pleasures and receiving a constant stream of heavenly pleasures. Compare the two. Earthly pleasures last for moments. Heavenly pleasures last for eternity. Perhaps you do not understand the difference. Only in heaven will you have complete understanding but let it be noted that heavenly pleasures come through you, blessing you, and then spread out, blessing all those around you.

Your soul is open to receiving heavenly graces, not just for you but for the whole world. Imagine how beautiful a soul looks to heaven when that soul is an open recipient of heavenly graces. Thank you for helping heaven. Thank you for helping those around you. And thank you for helping Me. Regardless of your suffering and regardless of your sacrifices, there will be a moment when you will thank Me for allowing you to participate in this, My renewal.

July 5 - I OFFER YOU HAPPINESS

I Offer You Happiness Our Lady speaks of joy today:

Dear children, tonight your Mother joins you in your happiness and joy. I would like to offer you happiness. I would like to give you love, so that you can extend this love to others. I would like to give you peace, so that you can give this peace to others, so you can extend it especially to families where hatred exists.

Dear children, I would like all of you to renew family prayer. I would like you yourselves to encourage others to renew this prayer. Your Mother will help you. (Visonary Prayer Group Message 10-17-88)

In Luke's gospel, Jesus brings great joy to a widow:

When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, "Do not weep." Then he came forward and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, rise!" The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. (Luke 7:13-15)

Reflection:

The widow's situation was serious. She had lost her husband, and now her only son, her last means of support, was dead. The crowd of mourners would go home, and she would be left penniless and friendless.

She was probably past the age of childbearing and would not marry again. Unless a relative came to her aid, her future was bleak. She would be an easy prey for swindlers, and she would likely be reduced to begging for food. In fact, as Luke repeatedly emphasizes, she was just the kind of person Jesus came to help—and help her he did. Christ has the power to bring hope and even joy out of tragedy.

Application:

Like the widow who's son was raised to life, Our Lady also wishes us to experience deep joy in Christ. Today, pray that you may live the Virgin's messages so as to realize in your life the happiness and peace the world cannot give, but only the Son of God.

Medjugorje Day By Day July 04 - INDEPENANCE DAY

"Kneeling in this way [adoration] is the bodily expression of our positive response to the real presence of Jesus Christ, who as God and man, with body and soul, flesh and blood is present among us" (Pope Benedict XVI).

Jesus loved and still loves the unwanted and the unloved. He loves them deeply. He died for them, and He doesn't stop saying:

July 4 - INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day Appropriately, Our Lady speaks of freedom today a great gift of God to his people:

Therefore, little children, I desire that your decisions be free before God, because he has given you freedom. Therefore, pray so that, free from any influence of Satan, you may decide only for God. (Monthly Message 11-25-89)

And in John's gospel, words of freedom from Christ:

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:31-32)

Reflection:

As we see in the words of Christ and Our Lady today, freedom is first and foremost a gift from God. In its fundamental form, it is an intrinsic and inalienable right of every human being.

Since gaining its own freedom, America has had both the honor and the cross of defending it throughout the world, notably during the two World Wars and the Cold War. These were moments of glory for the United States, and we pray that its influence in the future will continue to be one of justice, liberty, and the inalienable rights of all people.

Application:

Today, simply offer this Prayer on Independence Day:

Heavenly Father, like the Israelites of old, our ancestors in the faith, our country has struggled long and hard to be free and to keep its freedom as a nation. It too has met with success and failure in trying to achieve its goals. As we ponder the strengths of America, may we also strive to eliminate her weaknesses, whether they be social, political, or economic.

Today we reflect on the teachings of your Son who brought us a message of peace and freedom and taught us to love as brothers and sisters. His message took form in the vision of our founders as they fashioned a nation where people might live as one with the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

May this legacy live on in our midst as a task for people today and a promise for tomorrow. Thank you for all your past blessings and, with your help, for all that we will achieve in the future. Amen.

Reflection:

Many years ago a wealthy family in England took their children for a holiday in the country. When the children went swimming in a pool, one of the boys began to drown. The other boys screamed for help and the son of the gardener jumped in and rescued the drowning one. Later, the grateful parents asked the gardener what they could do for the youthful hero. The gardener said his son wanted to go to college. "He wants to be a doctor," he said. The visitors shook hands on that. "We'd be glad to pay his way through," they told him.

When Winston Churchill was stricken with pneumonia after the Teheran conference, the King of England instructed that the best doctor be found to save the Prime Minister. The doctor turned out to be Dr. Fleming, the developer of penicillin. "Rarely," said Churchill to Fleming, "has one man owed his life twice to the same rescuer." It was Fleming who saved Churchill in that pool.

Application:

Today, give thanks in your own words for the Lord's saving grace, which rescues us continually from sin and despondency, freeing us to live in hope and freedom.

Medjugorje Day By Day July 02 - A SONG OF LOVE

"What the blood plasma is to the human body, that of the Eucharist is to the
Mystical Body. In the human body is a lymph flowing through the bloodstream,
carrying a store of provisions which is tapped by each individual cell;
supplying it not only with the food it needs, but also repairing its waste parts.
This flowing tide of sustenance passes by every door, displaying and offering
its goods to its tiny cells, making them all one body because all are nourished

Today I saw the glory of God which flows from the image. Many souls are receiving graces, although they do not speak of it openly. Even though it has met up with all sorts of vicissitudes, God is receiving glory because of it; and the efforts of Satan and of evil men are shattered and come to naught. In spite of Satan's anger, The Divine Mercy will triumph over the whole world and will be worshiped by all souls. (1789)

July 2 - A SONG OF LOVE

The foundation of the Medjugorje messages, and of the Christian life itself, is love:

Dear children, today I call you to a love which is loyal and pleasing to God. Little children, your love should bear all that is bitter and difficult for the sake of Jesus, who is love. And so, dear children, pray that God may come to your aid—but not according to your wishes, but in accord with his loving plans for you. Surrender yourselves to God so that he may heal you, console you, and forgive everything inside of you which hinders you on the way of love. In this way, God can mold your life and you will grow in love. Dear children, glorify God with a song of love so that his love may grow in you day by day to its fullness.

Paul also emphasizes love as the one thing necessary:

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Cor 13:4-7)

Reflection:

Having discussed spiritual gifts earlier in his letter, Paul now focuses on the core of spirituality: love. No matter what gift a person has, if he or she does not express love in using that gift, then whatever is done is empty.

The greatest measure of spirituality is the extent to which Christ like love fills our lives. This is not a love that we can muster up within ourselves; it is a supernatural love given by the Holy Spirit. In this context, the Virgin could say to Jelena: "Pray unceasingly to Jesus, that he fill your heart with love." For Paul, our love is central to all that we do, for it is the foundation of spirituality. The more intimately we know and love Christ, the more love will grow in our hearts.

Application:

In her message today, the Madonna equates growth in love with surrender to God. This day, then, surrender yourself again to God (for surrender is an ongoing process, like conversion), so his love will take deeper root in your heart.

SHORT POWERFUL PRAYER THROUGH ST. JOSEPH

"Glorious St. Joseph, tenderhearted father, faithful
guardian of Jesus, chaste spouse of the Mother of
God, I ask you to join me in praising God the Father
through His Divine Son who died on the cross and
rose again to give us sinners new life. Through the
Holy Name of Jesus, pray with me that we may obtain

Say this prayer for nine consecutive days.

Fear not! God is your shelter (the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. God never fails). Don’t fail him. Call on Jesus. Jesus on the mainline, tell him what you want!
