We were forcibly thrown in the furnace with a soldier who had converted, Alexander. 4th century, 9 July, 17 Dec.

I lived for meditations and mortification for 90 years, devoid of human contact. I was 113 when Saint Anthony found me. He came later, but I was by then, gone to glory. "Advance on your journey to the Promised Land"

Dear Friends,

God's Just judgment

Therefore, you are without excuse, every one of you who passes judgment. For by the standard by which you judge another you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the very same things.

We know that the judgment of God on those who do such things is true. Do you suppose, then, you who judge those who engage in such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you hold his priceless kindness, forbearance, and patience in low esteem, unaware that the kindness of God would lead you to repentance?

By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God, who will repay everyone according to his works: eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works, but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness. Yes, affliction and distress will come upon every human being who does evil, Jew first and then Greek. But there will be glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, Jew first and then Greek. There is no partiality with God. Romans 2:1-11

Below is the message of Our Lord given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words,

"When I was on earth, I insisted that all My followers stop judging others. St. Paul also wrote about it in his letter to the Romans. You cannot judge properly as you only see the exterior but I am the true judge because I can see the interior of a person and that person's whole life.

Those who judge others will also be judged. However, those who do not judge will not be judged. Do not be selfish and wish to lord it over others, trying to show yourself on a higher plain than those you meet and your neighbours. Be humble and kind to everyone and pray for them and you will be blessed.

I can tell you that those who continuously judge others and do not repent of their sin will be found on My left at the Last Judgment. Repent now of this sin and stop your sinful ways and you will be found on My right on that last day and I will bring you with me to heaven. Begin today to follow Me and you will receive all the graces you need to advance on your journey to the Promised Land."

"Let Her cover you with Her mantle"
Dear Friends,

Jesus on the Cross speaks to His Mother

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I thirst."

There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, "It is finished." And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit. John 19:25-30

I give you now the message of Our Lord and Savior addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words,

"I spent three hours hanging on the cross in great suffering. I knew that My Mother was standing by the cross with John the Apostle and with Mary Magdalen and other women. Just before I died I spoke to My Mother these words, 'Woman, behold, your son.'

Then I spoke to John saying, 'Behold, your mother.' John stood for all of you who believe in Me. Therefore, I gave My Mother to be your Mother. You now have a great Mother who lives in heaven. She prays continuously for all of you, Her children.

I want you all to have a great devotion to My Mother who loves you with all Her heart and desires that you all reach heaven one day. You cannot love Me as you should if you do not love My Mother. Pray to Her regularly and She will intercede for you. Pray the rosary, the prayer that she loves, and you will be blessed. Accept this wonderful gift of a mother, which I gave you from the cross.

She has come to visit every continent to show you that you are all very special to Her. She calls you all to believe in Me and to give your life completely to Me. She is the cause of many conversions in the world and She is the one who leads you to Me. Let Her cover you with Her mantle of protection to keep you away from the evil one and to give you the graces you need to follow Me. As you love Me, love My Mother too."

Today I heard the words: In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful Heart.

I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so; My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice. Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy. I replied, "O my Jesus, speak to souls Yourself, because my words are insignificant." (1588)

Of holiness and the family, Our Lady says:

Dear children, what joy you give me; you are on the road to holiness! I beg you, help by your witness, all those who do not know hoe to live in holiness. That is why your family must be the place where holiness is born. Help everyone to live in holiness, especially the members of your own family. (Weekly Message July 24, 1986).

And in the Book of Proverbs, advice from wise parents is likened to a beautiful garland:
Hear, my child, your father's instruction,

And do not reject your mother's teaching;

For they are a fair garland for you head,

And pendants for your neck. Proverbs 1 :8-9

Reflection:

On this Feast of Joachim and Ann, the parents of Mary, it is fitting to speak of holiness and the family, for that is where the latter is often born and nourished. In a broad sense, to be holy is to be a reflection of God, to possess the characteristics of the divine, especially love. In holiness, love illuminates the whole person; it becomes a living dynamism or energy within us.

Yet love cannot be isolated form the other virtues and usually does not spring up suddenly within us. As the Blessed Virgin said in 1985: "If you live the messages, you are living the seeds of holiness." It is a process, a journey.

This brings us to the family and today's message in which Our Lady says to, « let your family be a place where holiness is born, » and « help your family to live in holiness. » In other words, families are urged to live the messages of prayer, scripture reading, fasting and the sacraments, and then love will be born and nourished within them.

Prayer is essential to holiness and love, as Mary said in 1987: "Pray, because in prayer each one of you will be able to achieve complete love " (and its corollary, holiness).

With holiness alive in our families, we can achieve the good fruits of family life which St. Paul recommends to Ephesians today, and which were evident in the family of Joachim, Ann and their child Mary.

Little children, praised be Jesus!

Little ones, always remember that Almighty God is merciful, kind and compassionate. He is always there for you. Always remember this, because you have every opportunity at your hand at any moment you desire to give yourself totally to Him, to follow Him, to love Him, to suffer for Him, to be a vehicle of peace, to be Him, to live in Him, and to love as He loves.

Time as you know it is quickly passing. What seemed a year ago to be a year away in your time, now has past. Quickly events and circumstances rush by you. It is hard to grasp even a moment, dwelling in the most perfect Love of God, without being distracted. Many events have unfolded, one after another, without even enough time to focus on one before another happens. Is that not what I have foretold to you?

Make your house in order by prioritizing the necessities of life, those being purity and true love of God, by following Him, being detached, being at peace, removing vices that hinder your relationship with God, and by silencing all types of gossip, slander, malice, and unjustified rejections and persecutions. Be the Light of God!

As you have witnessed, in a moment’s glance you could have all and lose all. What is the value of “life” to you? And to what means will you pursue your desires over that which God desires? You know the Commandments. You know what has been asked of you, morally, ethically, and family-wise. You have been given a gift. There is no need to seek anymore. Please, children, be the Light and love one another. Pray for wisdom and discernment.

As parents, be responsible to bring up your children with good moral values. Help them to be responsible and accountable. Help them to have self-esteem by their doing what is right. Challenge them to achieve, and they will be proud children of God. They are only a gift to you.

All those around you are gifts; and when God deems fit, they return to Him. Use your gifts wisely, and know that I am here with you. I am not leaving, even if you think I am far away. Be prepared. Pray with all your heart, and do not take “life” for granted.

I take your petitions gratefully to God; and through His omnipotent, most glorious and adorable Love and power, all blessings from Heaven are upon you!

Our loving, wise, and solicitous Mother has once more given us some very precious guiding lights.

She begins this message by reminding us of the transitory nature of worldly events. Things are ephemeral. Time passes and vanishes rapidly. All our possessions can be lost in an instant. Our Mother reminds us the only important focus in our own life is God for He is our Pivot, our Center, our Beginning and End. He wants us to live, love, and exist in Him, with Him and through Him. God’s mercy and compassion are always available and He is anxiously waiting for us to respond and come to Him.

God has given us many gifts such as family, children and friends and Our Mother exhorts us to use them wisely. Of course, Our Lady of Emmitsburg is a very special gift. We are so grateful that She reiterates Her decision to not leave us as She continues to guide us.

Little children, praised be Jesus!

What a joy it is to come to be with you! With all your penances and sacrifices, how pleased I am that you give to God the Eternal Father, and to my Son, and to the Holy Spirit, all of who you are! For all that you have done during this Lenten season,

I thank you. I thank you, and with joy I join you in prayer for the fruition of all of your sacrifices. It is a glorious day because it is one on which the whole world joins together to pay homage to the True King, the Authentic God, the One and Only!

When my Son died on the Cross, my heart was torn from Him, and I was in shock. There was complete emptiness in me. I was numb. When I received my Son in my arms, all my emotion poured out; then there was nothing left in me. I wanted to die with Him. In my heart, I did; but I had to remain on this earth for you.

As I opened my hands, I called to the world, "See, there is nothing left in me. Come. Come." I pressed my lips on my Son, and there I found comfort. The world truly will never know the depth and the breadth of your Mother's sorrow until you meet your Creator face to face.

How many of you live now in this world "empty," day by day, without any consolation, and suffering with a sorrowful heart? I join you, for I am with you. But remember this: the hope is there in my Son, for He awoke and resurrected.

He closed His Eyes in sorrow and in pain from what He knew He had done for the salvation of humanity. But then, He opened His Eyes on a new mission, knowing very well that He would have to walk in the world to convince all of His Presence. So it is today, and He knew very well then that the mission and the fight against evil was just beginning. Yet, victoriously He stood and walked.

You too pray, and you know that the waves of torment and frustration crash on you daily, from rebuking people who think you are not of God, that you are fraudulent, criminals and deceivers. You close your eyes. You leave it to my Son at the Cross. Then you open your eyes, and you also know to move valiantly ahead on a mission.

It is most sorrowful and sad that there are those, especially if they are clergy, who exhibit spiritual jealousy; but there are many who walk in this way. They do not realize the great gift that awaits them, and that their useless energy could be spent on doing good to build up, not to tear down.

I love you. I thank you so much for being with me and walking my way. Thank you for not turning away, but for knowing that there is much work to be done, all for the greater glory of God. Praise be to His Most Glorious Name! Thank you, little ones. You are so special in my heart, just as my Son had a special one of the apostles (John) in His

Heart. I will always be there for you; and know this:
My Son is alive!

He is no longer at a distance.

He is with you, and in you, and all around you!

Everywhere, He is with you!

Take courage. Never despair. Move forward. We shall win, because God the Father deems it so. He created your soul for this very moment. The greatest thing that you can do in your life is now about to unfold!
