Holy Mary, Mother of God, Protectress of Africa, you have given to the world the true Light, Jesus Christ. Through your obedience to the Father and the grace of the Holy Spirit, you have given us the source of our reconciliation and our justice, Jesus Christ, our peace and our joy.

Mother of Tenderness and Wisdom, show us Jesus, your Son and the Son of God. Guide our path of conversion, so that Jesus might shine his glory on us in every aspect of our personal, familial and social lives.

Helenus, I am from the desert. I followed the way of chastity and moderation, honed by the practice of fasting and prayer, to quell the temptations of the flesh.

God always provided what I needed when I needed. I once visited a journey to visit other monks. My load was heavy, and in the name of Jesus enlisted wild donkeys to carry my burden. On another occasion, I visited a monastery for Sunday service, but there was to be none, because of river crocodiles. In the name of Jesus, I bade the crocodile to give me a ride on its back to visit the Presbyter (Elder), to conduct services.

It did so, but the Presbyter (Elder), was too frightened to come.
God gave me the ability to read souls and spirits, as well as to stop evil spirits from tormenting.

"Let Her cover you with Her mantle"
Dear Friends,

Jesus on the Cross speaks to His Mother

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, Woman, behold, your son.Then he said to the disciple. Behold, your mother. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, I thirst.There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit. John 19:25–30

We had a sunny day yesterday and there was a little wind. Today although the forecaster announced rain it is still sunny this morning.

I gave four talks yesterday to those who are here for the retreat. In the evening we all went to the Immaculate Conception Church here for a Healing Mass. There was a large crowd present. There were three priests to pray with the people for healing. The retreat will continue this morning and all will meet at 9:30 a.m. We will end with Holy Mass at noon. I will celebrate Holy Mass tomorrow Saturday at 9:30 a.m. as usual.

I give you now the message of Our Lord and Savior addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I spent three hours hanging on the cross in great suffering. I knew that My Mother was standing by the cross with John the Apostle and with Mary Magdalen and other women. Just before I died I spoke to My Mother these words, Woman, behold, your son. Then I spoke to John saying, Behold, your mother. John stood for all of you who believe in Me. Therefore, I gave My Mother to be your Mother. You now have a great Mother who lives in heaven. She prays continuously for all of you, Her children.

I want you all to have a great devotion to My Mother who loves you with all Her heart and desires that you all reach heaven one day. You cannot love Me as you should if you do not love My Mother. Pray to Her regularly and She will intercede for you. Pray the rosary, the prayer that she loves, and you will be blessed. Accept this wonderful gift of a mother, which I gave you from the cross.

She has come to visit every continent to show you that you are all very special to Her. She calls you all to believe in Me and to give your life completely to Me. She is the cause of many conversions in the world and She is the one who leads you to Me. Let Her cover you with Her mantle of protection to keep you away from the evil one and to give you the graces you need to follow Me. As you love Me, love My Mother too.

"Become a living member of My Kingdom and My Church"

Dear Friends,

Thanksgiving to God

First, I give thanks to my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is heralded throughout the world. God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in proclaiming the gospel of his Son, that I remember you constantly, always asking in my prayers that somehow by God’s will I may at last find my way clear to come to you. For I long to see you, that I may share with you some spiritual gift so that you may be strengthened, that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by one another’s faith, yours and mine. I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, though I was prevented until now, that I might harvest some fruit among you, too, as among the rest of the Gentiles. To Greeks and non-Greeks alike, to the wise and the ignorant, I am under obligation; that is why I am eager to preach the Gospel also to you in Rome. Romans 1:8–15

We had a mostly rainy day yesterday and it was humid. This morning the sky is clearing and the sun should be out shortly. The humidity is gone.

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning at the little shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. At 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon I started the retreat. A good group attended with people as far away as Kansas. There are some from Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. Last evening most of them were at the prayer meeting at our church. It is a long time that we had so many people at the gathering. We were around 50 people and I believe every person enjoyed the one hour of prayer. This morning I will continue the retreat starting at 9:30 a.m. and this evening we will all go to the Immaculate Conception Church for the Healing Mass.

Here is a message from Our Lord and Savior given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words:

“St Paul the Apostle wrote many letters to the Christians in various cities of his time. He especially wrote about Me. His letter to the Romans shows his great love for these people and his great desire to come and visit them. He was indeed eager to go and preach the Gospel to all the countries around. He is an example for all of you of a man with great faith. He did not fear suffering or persecution. All he cared for was to make Me known to the people.

My dear friends, I desire you all to have great faith just like St. Paul. May you believe with all your heart that I am your Savior who came to rescue you from darkness and emptiness and to bring you into the light of My Kingdom. I want you all as My friends who know Me as the only Savior of the world. Become a living member of My Kingdom and My Church and you will have peace in your heart. Be an example to all the people you meet of a convinced Christian who puts Me first in your life. I bless you all.”

Jesus Comforts Us In Sorrow!

Today and before I begin sharing Jesus' message, I must first share with you how this message came to us.

For the past several days, and after hearing on TV News about a little girl (two or three years of age) was suffocated in her bed by a python, I had a lot of sorrow for her. Always in my prayers, I pray for the children! They are innocent little babies. And when I could not sleep with these feelings gnawing at me about this child and all the other innocent children who are kidnapped, raped and murdered, often at the very hands of their parents, I implored Jesus to help me to reconcile this.

At adoration I spent time alone with Jesus and prayed for all those with special needs and intentions. I made small offerings to Jesus and Mary and made an Act of Contrition. I read from a special book I had brought with me about the indulgences attached to saying the rosary and promised to say the rosary more frequently.

On my knees I prayed to Jesus to block out all distraction and help me to focus only on Him and to only hear in my heart or see in my mind what comes directly from Him.

Then I prayed, Speak Lord (only and always if it be His will), Your servant listens. Jesus immediately responded to my prayer saying: My child Eileen, Come with Me.

I could see Jesus reaching down His right arm and taking me by my right hand, leading me up toward the heavens. Then I was led to the throne of God the Father.

God spoke to me saying: “Do not attach yourself to the ways of the world. The earth is comprised of dirt and gold, it is cold and hard. Little children who suffer and die in the few minutes it takes to die, will spend eternity in the lap of My Son Jesus. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers and sisters. Amen.

Discernment here to me is God once again telling us not to be concerned with the death of our bodies, but to work toward saving our soul. v

July 25 - GIVE ME YOUR DIFFICULTIES

Today the Madonna asks that we surrender our problems and anxieties to her:

Dear children, tonight your Mother is happy to see you. I especially ask you tonight to give me your problems and difficulties, so that you will be able to pray with more joy and freedom and thus your prayer will be from the heart. That is why I ask you tonight to free yourselves from your troubles through prayer. Know that I am with you, dear children, and that I need your prayers (Visionaries Prayer Group November 5, 1990).

And in Luke's gospel, the prodigal son reaches the end of his rope and surrenders to his father's care:

So he set off and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him. Then the son said to him, « Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to called your son » (Lk 15 :20-21).

Reflection:

Unfortunately, some of us need to hit bottom before we awaken to the real meaning and purpose of life. The prodigal son's errant attitude was based on a desire to live as selfishly as he pleased. That attitude is not so different from the desires of a great many people in our society today. It may take great sorrow and tragedy to cause them to look to God for true fulfillment peace.

In Alcoholics Anonymous, it is said that one of the chief characteristics of the addictive personality is « self will run riot. » Unless the individual can surrender to a « higher power, » and exchange self-will for God's will, the addictive disease will kill him. Alcoholism is far more than a physical addiction to alcohol; it is a degenerative disease of the mind and spirit as well as the body. A new way of living and thinking must replace the old, or there can be no recovery. In the same way, our own spiritual is dependent upon our surrender to the will of God. Like the prodigal son, we will find only acceptance and Love at the hand of our Father.

Application:

As Our Lady urges us today, surrender yourself and all your problems and anxieties to the Lord in prayer.

Ask also for the grace to continue to « let go and let God. »

"He [Jesus] could have endured the agony alone. He could have anticipated

His Passion alone. Indeed, in the end, this is what He had to do. But He chose
three to be with Him. He showed that He did not want to be alone. He even
came and woke them up, even though He knew that though they were willing in
spirit they were just too tired to stay awake, and He lamented to them: 'Could
you not watch one hour with Me?' Now, we are the chosen ones . . . . We know
how much Christ wants us with Him" (John Haffert).

July 24 - PRAY ESPECIALLY FOR PEACE

In here monthly message for December, 1990, the Virgin spoke of peace:

Dear children, today I call you to pray especially for peace in the world. Offer sacrifices and good deeds for peace, for Satan is strong and tries with all his strength to destroy the peace which comes from God. Therefore, dear children, pray with me in a special way for peace. I am with you and I wish to help you with my prayers and to guide you on the path to peace. I bless you with my motherly blessing, and ask you not to forget to live the messages of peace (Monthly Message October 25, 1990).

And in Luke's gospel, the angels sing of peace:

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, « Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors! » (Lk 2 :13-14).

Reflection:

Prayer for peace is one of Our Lady's most frequent requests, and so let's simply take her advice, using a prayer written by Fr. Slavko Barbaric, spiritual director to the visionaries:

O Lord of Peace, we praise and glorify you for giving us your son, Jesus Christ. Through him you have reconciled the world to yourself, showing us the deepest love.

Father, grant us your peace so that we might spread it throughout the world. We place ourselves under your protection and pray for those who are suffering wherever there is conflict. We lift up to you those who are destroying themselves through sin and evil, seeking only the happiness of this world.

Lord of Peace, we thank you for the opportunities for peace you have given us in this new age; help us, in the words of St. Francis, to be instruments of your peace.

Through the intercession of our Holy Mother, may we experience and sing within our hearts the song of the angels: »Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth. » May we truly live this peace to your glory, and for the good of all our brothers and sisters. Amen.

This is why I tell you: pray, make sacrifices and do penance and return to the Sacraments; then, the peace and the joy that every human person desires will come to rest in your hearts.
