You will put them into boiling water and leave them there for 14 minutes, covering the receptacle so that the steam remains therein.

At the onset of this disease, one must use this remedy three times a day."

"This disease will produce a continual vomiting and nausea. If the remedy is taken too late, the part of the body affected will become black and in the black there will be seen a sort of pale, yellow streak."

Daily Consecration to the Eternal Father

For the greater glory of God and for the salvation of all, I consecrate myself to You, O' Eternal Father, as one of Your faithful remnant. Behold, I come to do Your Will. With the help of Your Grace, I will keep Your Commandments. I will love and reverence You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I will love my neighbor as You love me.

I make this Consecration through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son, Jesus.

O' Eternal Father, send forth Your Holy Spirit to restore my/our broken image and likeness of You. Send forth also Your entire Heavenly Court, all the celestial choirs of Your angels and all Your Saints, to aid me/us in my/our struggle against all the forces of evil in this present darkness. Amen. Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary Protectress of Africa

Holy Mary, Mother of God, Protectress of Africa, you have given to the world the true Light, Jesus Christ. Through your obedience to the Father and the grace of the Holy Spirit, you have given us the source of our reconciliation and our justice, Jesus Christ, our peace and our joy.

Mother of Tenderness and Wisdom, show us Jesus, your Son and the Son of God. Guide our path of conversion, so that Jesus might shine his glory on us in every aspect of our personal, familial and social lives.

Mother, full of Mercy and Justice, through your docility to the Spirit, the Counselor, obtain for us the grace to be witnesses of the Risen Lord, so that we will increasingly become the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

Mother of Perpetual Help, we entrust to your maternal intercession the preparation and fruits of the Second Special Assembly for Africa. Queen of Peace, pray for us! Our Lady of Africa, pray for us!

Through the authority of Prefect Culcianus. I was martyredin 304 A.D, with Philoromus, the Tribune. 4 Dec. and 26 Dec. Latin Rite, 14 Oct. Coptic Calendar.

Philemon, the dancer- piper, and Appolonius, the deacon. Martyrs at Antinoe (Latopolis) Kemet, 305 A.D. Apollonius, was loathed to be tortured. He attempted to bribe Philemon to get the ticket evidence that they both had sacrificed to the gods (a requirement). Philemon, however, instead confessed, Christ Jesus. He was beheaded. Apollonius after repenting also suffered beheading.

"This is My Body"

Dear Friends,

Tradition of the Institution

For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me. In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. A person should examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

That is why many among you are ill and infirm, and a considerable number are dying. If we discern ourselves, we would not be under judgment; but since we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that your meetings may not result in judgment. The other matters I shall set in order when I come. 1 Cor 11:23-34

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words,

St. Paul along with the three Evangelists spoke of the Last Supper with the Apostles. As it is known to you, I took bread and gave thanks and praise to God. I broke the bread, gave it to the Apostles and said, ˜ Take this, all of you and eat it: This is My Body which will be given up for you. When supper was ended, I took the cup.

Again I gave thanks and praise to the Father, gave the cup to My disciples and said, ˜Take this, all of you, and drink from it: This is the cup of My blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of Me.

What I give you to eat and drink is My very self. I am present in the host with My Body and My Blood, soul and divinity. I am present there alive as I live now in heaven on the right of My Father. You are to receive the Eucharist with a repented heart free of any grave sins otherwise you are bringing judgment upon yourself. I bless you all.

Dear Friends,

Seek the Good of Others

Everything is lawful,but not everything is beneficial. Everything is lawful,but not everything builds up. No one should seek his own advantage, but that of his neighbor. Eat anything sold in the market, without raising questions on grounds of conscience, for the earth and it fullness are the Lord’s.If an unbeliever invites you and you want to go, eat whatever is placed before you, without raising questions on grounds of conscience.

But if somebody says to you, This was offered in sacrifice,do not eat it on account of the one who called attention to it and on account of conscience, not your own conscience but the other’s. For why should my freedom be determined by somebody else’s conscience? If I partake thankfully, why am I reviled for that over which I give thanks? So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. Avoid giving offense, whether to Jews or Greeks or the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in every way, not seeking my own benefit but that of the many, that they may be saved. 1Cor 10:23-33

Is it lawful to accept an invitation to dinner from a non-Catholic or from a non-believer? What if in the room there is a statue of Buddha or something of the occult, would you feel at peace? If this would affect your conscience in any way, then do not go. However, these things will not offend you or cause you any harm. What you are to do is to do everything for the glory of God. Do not give offense to others even though what you are doing does not offend your conscience.

What you should want above everything else is the salvation of every person. Show them that you love Me and that you love all those you meet. Food and drink have no significance in themselves to help you spiritually but they are needed to nourish our bodies. One can buy food in any market and eat it without any qualms of conscience.

You are asked to eat and drink moderately as gluttony is a sin. Many today eat too much and this is not good. Food and drink should be taken in moderation and it will please God. It is good too at times to fast for the remission of sins and to have control of your appetites. Do not let your bodily desires rule you but you should rule them. Alcohol drinks also should be drunk in moderation for abuse of it is very sinful. Live for the glory of God.

And yet, I live by it and will live by it forever. This mystery distinguishes me from every other soul here on earth or in eternity. (824)

AUGUST 20 - ST. BERNARD

In a message on love in 1986, the Blessed Mother said:

Dear children, again today I wish to show you how much I love you. But I regret that not everyone understands my love. I call you, then, to prayer and complete surrender to God so that you will be able to comprehend how very much I love you.

Be aware that Satan wants to affect you in everyday affairs and wants to claim first place in your lives.

Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing ! (Weekly Message October 16, 1986).
And from Psalm 118:

O give thank s to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, "His steadfast love endures forever."

Let the house of Aaron say, "His steadfast love endures forever." Let those who hold the Lord in awe, say,"His steadfast love endures forever." Psalm 118:1-4
Reflection:

Born in 1090 in France, St. Bernard joined the Cistercian order and later served as abbot. Renowned for his many theological and spiritual works, his words on God's love are just as pertinent today: "Love is sufficient of itself. It gives pleasure by itself and because of itself . It is its own merit, its own reward."

Application:

St. Bernard also had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother and wrote this Prayer in Praise of the Mother of God. Let us offer it today for Our Lady's intentions of peace:

Mary, our Mother, the whole world reveres you as the holiest shrine of the living God, for in you the salvation of the world dawned. The Son of God was pleased to take human form from you. You have broken down the wall of hatred, the barrier between heaven and earth which was set up by man's first disobedience. If you heaven met earth when divinity and humanity were joined in one person, the Man-God.

Mother of God, we sing your praises, but we must praise you even more. Our speech is too feeble to honor you as we ought, for no tongue is eloquent enough to express your wonders and beauty. Mary, most powerful, most holy, and worthy of all love! Your name brings new life, and the thought of your inspires love in the hearts of those devoted to you. Amen.

Aristotle commented upon this fact, saying that sight is the most spiritual of all the senses and hearing the most material. For that reason we are moved by sympathy towards those who are afflicted in the most spiritual way."

AUGUST 19 - ST. JOHN EUDES

Today Our Lady explains why she has been with us so long in Medjugorje:

Dear children, this is the reason for my presence among you for such a long time; to lead you to Jesus. I want to save you and, through you, to save the whole world.

Many people now live without faith; some don't even want to hear about Jesus, and yet they still want peace and fulfillment ! Children, this is the reason why I need your prayer: Prayer is the only way to save the human race (Locution Jelena & Mirijana July 30, 1987).

In John's gospel, Christ prays to the Father for the salvation of souls:

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they may also be sanctified in truth. I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word. (Jn 17:19-20).

Reflection:

The salvation of souls was also the chief concern of St. John Eudes, a 17th century French priest who founded two religious orders and was noted for his tireless work for the poor. He was especially devoted to the Blessed Mother, and wrote a litany of praise in her honor.

Application:

It would be appropriate to offer this litany today, our intention being the same as that of Our Lady, the salvation of souls:

Hail Mary, daughter of God the Father.

Hail Mary, Mother of God the Son.

Hail Mary, Spouse of God the Holy Spirit

Hail Mary, Temple of the most Blessed Trinity.

Hail Mary, pure lily of the effulgent Trinity.

Hail Mary, celestial rose of the ineffable love of God.

Hail Mary, Virgin pure & humble, of whom the God of heaven willed to be born and with your milk to be nourished.

Hail Mary, Virgins of virgins.

Hail Mary, Queen of martyrs, whose soul was transfixed by a sword.

Hail Mary, Lady most blessed! Unto whom all power in heaven and earth is given.

Hail Mary, my Queen and my mother! My life, my sweetness and my hope.

Hail Mary, Mother most amiable.

Hail Mary, Mother most admirable.

Hail Mary, Mother of divine Love.

Medjugorje Day By Day Aug 18 - ACT WITH LOVE

"I have great expectations of you, young people . . . The theme of [World
Youth Day 2005]—'We have come to worship him'—suggests how you can best
experience this Eucharistic year. Bring to your encounter with Jesus, hidden in the
Eucharist, all the enthusiasm of your age, all your hopes, all your desire to
love" (Pope John Paul II, Servant of God, Mane Nobiscum Domine, 30).

"You heard me, only Friend whom I love.

To ravish my heart, you became man.

You shed your blood, what a supreme mystery! . . .

And you still live for me on the Altar.

If I cannot see the brilliance of your Face

We need each other. Our lives would be empty without each other. How can we love God and His poor, if we do not love each other with whom we live?

Impressions are a reflection of behavior or image!
"People are like a mirror which reflects back on us the kind of image we cast. The kind man bears with the infirmities of others, never magnifies trifles and avoids a spirit of fault finding. He knows that the trouble with most people in the world is that they are unloved.

No one cares for them either because they are ugly or nasty, or troublesome, or so-called bores. To a great extent their character is made by the resentment they feel toward others who are unkind."

It is a strange thing that although the soul which experiences this union with God cannot find words and expressions to describe it, nevertheless, when it meets a similar soul, the two understand each other extraordinarily well in regard to these matters, even though they speak but little with each other. A soul united with God in this way easily recognizes a similar soul, even if the latter has not revealed its interior [life] to it, but merely speaks in an ordinary way. It is a kind of spiritual kinship. Souls united with God in this way are few, fewer than we think. (768)

I have noticed that the Lord grants this grace to souls for two purposes. The first is when the soul is to do some great work which is, humanly speaking, absolutely beyond its power. In the second case, I have noticed that the Lord grants it in order that kindred souls might be guided and set at peace, although the Lord can grant this grace as He pleases and to whomever He pleases. However, I have noticed this grace in three priests, one of whom is a secular priest [probably Father Sopocko] and the other two, religious priests [probably Father Elter and Father Andrasz], and also in two religious sisters [probably Mother Michael and Sister Mary Joseph], but not in the same degree. (769)

AUGUST 18 - ACT WITH LOVE

The Blessed Mother speaks of love today:

Dear children, hatred gives rise to division and blinds one to everything and everybody. I call you, then, to spread harmony and peace, especially where you live.

Dear children, act with love. May love by your only tool. With love, change into good all that Satan is trying to destroy and take for himself. In this way you will be completely mine and I will be able to help you (Weekly Message July 31, 1986).

In his first letter, St. John takes up the theme of love:

For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.

How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action (1 Jn 3:11, 16-18).

Reflection:

St. Bede once wrote: "To love our neighbor in charity is to love God in man. "This story form T.A. Beetham's Christianity and the New Africa might illustrate.

In 1964 in the Congo there was widespread rebellion against the central government, which was to bring persecution and death to many Congo Christians. The actions of the Simbas, or Lions, were usually unpredictable.

"Why did you shelter a white woman ?"asked the Simba military court of one pastor. "Because she is my sister in Christ, the child of my own heavenly Father," was the reply.

Although he was condemned by the court to be shot, the effect of his bearing on the major was such that he set him free.

Love is spread not so much by what we say, but by what we do, by our example. To live the messages of Our Lady, to praise God with our lives, means first to love.

Application:

How can you express your love in a concrete way today?

My communion with the Lord is now purely spiritual. My soul is touched by God and wholly absorbs itself in Him, even to the complete forgetfulness of self. Permeated by God to its very depths, it drowns in His beauty; it completely dissolves in Him - I am at a loss to describe this, because in writing I am making use of the senses; but there, in that union, the senses are not active; there is a merging of God and the soul; and the life of God to which the soul is admitted is so great that the human tongue cannot express it.

When the soul returns to its habitual form of life, it then sees that this life is all darkness and mist and dreamlike confusion, an infant's swaddling clothes. In such moments the soul only receives from God, for of itself it does nothing; it does not make even the slightest effort; all is wrought by God. But when the soul returns to its ordinary state, it sees that it is not within its power to continue in this union.

These moments are short, but their effects are lasting. The soul cannot remain long in this state; or else it would be forcibly freed of the bonds of the body forever. Even as it is, it is sustained by a miracle of God. God allows the soul to know in a clear way how much He loves it, as though it were the only object of His delight. The soul recognizes this clearly and without a veil, so to speak. It reaches out for God with all its might, but it feels like a baby; it knows that this is not within its power. Therefore, God descends to the soul and unites it to himself in a way that... here, I must be silent, for I cannot describe what the soul experiences. (767)

AUGUST 17 - THE SPIRIT OF FAITH

In the first months of the apparitions, the Madonna gave this message on faith:

It is necessary for the world to be saved while there is still time, that it pray ardently and have the spirit of faith (First Years November 2, 1981).

For Paul, faith is the source of righteousness:

But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is not distinction, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:21-23).

Reflection:

Faith is one of the five core messages of Medjugorje. It is also the greatest gift of God, from which all others flow.

For addicted people, faith is not an option, but a matter of life and death. In this "age of psychology," it is significant that in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction, a degenerative disease of body, mind, and spirit, only faith can unlock the door to recovery and a new life. We can learn a great deal from these treatment methods, especially the 12 Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Its major tenant is that, although one is powerless over alcohol or another addiction. God has all power, and in turning to him, his power will conquer what the individual cannot.

Application:

Today, confide to God your powerlessness over some weakness or vice (such as anger, overeating, anxiety, smoking etc.. In faith, ask that his power control what for you is uncontrollable

My dearest ones, My faithful ones, I am your Holy Spirit who speaks, the Spirit of love, the love of the Father for the Son and the Son for the Father, the enabler of all your gifts. I repeat these things again, My children, that you might remember them, that you might begin to pray more specifically to Me, as I have been requesting most recently.

My children, I ask for you to pay attention to the words you are saying in each prayer, to focus on the fact that you are praying. More attention will give you the openness for which you pray to more gifts, to more strength, to more that each of you knows you need, to make progress in the Father's plan.

My dear ones, there is so much going on behind the scenes; but it is difficult after such a long wait to believe that there is much subterfuge behind the scenes in all governments in the world. There are many more plans being made and agreed to worldwide now than ever before, based on the plans that have been made for many, many years.

My children, times are critical and you are so precious to your God and will be needed so much by His people. It is a familiar theme. How can I make you understand except that now, at this moment I pour out new understanding once again for all of you? How critical is your understanding! How critical is your coming forward with your prayers, laying them at the throne of the Father to be distributed as He wills!

Forgiveness, My people, forgiveness must be at the forefront of your thoughts, asking always new ability, new commitment on your part, new remembering of the need to remember who you need to forgive. It is repeated again; because it is everything to you, now, at this moment. It is a rounding out, a polishing, a burnishing of your whole soul and spirit, your heart, your mind and your will. Your whole self, My children, bring Me your whole self that I might help you.

Please have patience with your God for repeating words that you think you know; however, this is a call to you for much, much more awareness, commitment, and consecration. As has been said to you, bring your hearts to your prayers, My children. Think of the dreadful conditions in which people are living everywhere, every time you pray. Remember to bow your heads to the Father when you begin your prayers, especially the Lord's Prayer; but the Sign of the Cross as well. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of Myself, your Holy Spirit.

It is greater holiness, My dear ones, as you can hear in My words, to which you are called. Gentleness is a cloak I put upon each shoulder now, of all those in the world who listen. Picture yourself and remember that you are now cloaked with new holiness.

More and more, My children, Heaven will ask for more and more; and as you ask, My dear ones, Heaven gives you more and more. Meditate upon these themes, My dear ones. -and now at the bottom of the cross I see a very Large Brown Anchor (the anchor signifies hope)

-now I see The Holy Spirit as a Dove and now It’s going around the room througheveryone’s heart

CAN YOU NOT SEE HOW THE WORLD IS CHANGING? PEOPLE ARE GETTING TO BE MORE ON THE EDGE VERY NERVOUS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS HAPPENING ALL AROUND THE WORLD, THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.

AS I WELCOME YOU, I ALSO CONSIDER HOW YOU ARE MANY WHO SUFFER. YOU EXPERIENCE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SPIRITUAL SUFFERINGS. YET YOU COME WITH LOVE AND PRAYER IN YOUR HEARTS. I UNDERSTAND HOW DIFFICULT IT CAN BE FOR YOU AND I PRAY FOR YOU TO RECEIVE ALL YOU NEED TO REMAIN COMMITTED AND WITHIN THE HOLY WILL OF GOD. YOU ARE INDEED FRAGILE IN MANY WAYS. YET YOU ARE STRONG IN FAITH AND YOU DO NOT LACK IN COURAGE.

YOU COMPLY TO MY WISHES AND PLACE JESUS IN HEARTS THAT ARE MADE OF COMFORT AND TRUE LOVE. LITTLE ONES, I SPEAK TO YOU THIS NIGHT TO GIVE ENCOURAGEMENT DURING THESE TIMES WHEN YOU EXPERIENCE SO MUCH FOR SO LONG. I SAY TO YOU - ACCEPT PEACE INTO YOUR HEARTS AND GRACE INTO YOUR SOULS. Jesus Desires Our Company

Today I spent time alone in adoration with Jesus and prayed for all with special needs and intentions. After making small offerings to Jesus and saying a few decades of the rosary, I prayed saying: speak Lord, Your servant listens.

Jesus responded to my heart saying: My child Eileen, In the beginning I was lonely and desired company. God made man to His own image and likeness. Yet I AM still lonely because man detaches from Me. My people can feel pain when their children detach from them, yet cannot understand how their indifference hurts Me!

I love you because you do not detach from Me! I want all My children to come and spend time with Me in prayer and meditation. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers and sisters. Amen.

Child's Consecration to Jesus

Take my body Jesus

Eyes and Ears and tongue

Never let them Jesus

ever do Thee wrong

Take my heart and fill it

Full of love for Thee

All I have I give Thee

Give Thyself to me

Father, in the Name of Jesus, bless me even while I'm reading this prayer and bless the one that sent this to me in a special way.

Open doors in our lives today, Save and set free!

Give us a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything that the devil has stolen:

I cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against us in the NAME OF JESUS.
