Dear Friends,
"Jesus said to his disciples, 'The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest. Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.'" Luke 10: 2 - 3
The Lord is working, bringing about healings to many people. Today I will celebrate Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m. and at 11:30 p.m. I will be at the airport in Charlottetown to meet a woman arriving from France.
She is coming on a visit for nearly a month. Mr. Kelly who was here about two years ago will be back at the end of September 2008. He is the man from Boston who has a great gift of healing. There will be no message tomorrow, as I will come back very late from Charlottetown.
Here is another message given to Joseph by Jesus, Our Lord. Jesus spoke to him saying, "If you are My disciple, you have received a call from Me. I am calling you to work in My vineyard. It is now time to begin as the harvest is ready and it is plentiful. Each follower of Mine has his or her mission in the world and how I wish that all would begin the work immediately.
There are many out there who do not know Me and they are ready to accept Me if you teach them and call them to join Me. I call some to the priesthood, the sisterhood and I also call the laity. All are to work according to the charism they have received.
You need to get ready for this mission. This is done by coming to know Me through reading the Bible, the teachings of the Church and by prayer. It is important that you have an intimate relationship with Me in order to bring Me to others.
There is need of various groups called 'The Disciples of Jesus' where they meet together regularly to pray and to organize their apostolate in order to be more effective in their apostolic work. If it is possible they should have a priest or a religious sister to guide them.
They would visit the people in their homes and speak to them about Me and give them My call to follow Me. They would help these people to pray and invite them to a few evenings of talks about becoming an active Christian.
Many of the members of My Church I founded on Peter are asleep. It is time that they wake up and begin the work I called them to accomplish. Hurry up and go on your way to bring the good news to all those who have not yet heard about it. I will be with you to strengthen you. Do not be afraid of being rejected at times as I was but I assure you many will receive you with joy."

AUGUST 16 - LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
Today the Queen of Peace urges us to love:
Dear children, I call you to love your neighbor, especially those who do you harm. In this way you will be able to discern the intentions of hearts with love. Pray and love, dear children. It is with the strength of love that you will be able to accomplish what seems impossible to you (Weekly Message November 11, 1985).
Paul also speaks of love to the church at Rome
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, « You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet, » and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, « Love your neighbor as yourself. » Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law (Rom 13 :8-10).
Reflection:
Many people struggle with the idea that self-love is wrong, yet if this were the case, it would be pointless to love our neighbors as ourselves. In our second reading today, Paul explains what he means by self-love.
Even if we have low-esteem, we do not willingly let ourselves go hungry. We clothe ourselves reasonably well and make sure we have a roof over our heads. We try to avoid being injured or cheated. This is the kind of love we asked to have for our neighbors as well.
When we have the opportunity, do we help others to be fed, clothed, and housed as well as they can be ? Are we careful to never injure, defraud, or in any way hurt another ? Loving others as ourselves means to be alert to their needs, helping whenever we can. Not surprisingly, when we focus on others rather than on ourselves, we will rarely suffer low self-esteem.
Application:
Today, pray that the Father will give you a deep and abiding love for others. This week, be especially alert to those who can use your help.

The Rosary Solves All Problems
Regarding the Holy Rosary, Sister Lucia (the lone surviving seer of Fatima) speaking to Father Fuentes in the December 26, 1957 interview said:
"Look, Father, the Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given new efficacy in the recitation of the Holy Rosary.
She has given this efficacy to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families in the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations that cannot be solved by the Rosary.
There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot solve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary, we will save ourselves. We will sanctify ourselves. We will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls."

St. Maximilian—an ardent proponent of Adoration—wrote, "He remains among us until the end of the world. He dwells on so many altars, though so often offended and profaned."
Saturday, Eve of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven:
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my savior" (Lk 1:46-47). "O glorious Mother Mary . . . consumed with the desire to be united with thy Divine Son in Heaven, Thy soul departed from Thy body and united itself to Him, Who, out of the excessive love He bore for Thee, His Mother, whose virginal body was His first tabernacle, took that body into Heaven, and there, amidst the acclaims of the angels and saints, reinfused into it thy soul" (Charles V. Lacey).
Mary is assumed into Heaven and Her Heart is made forever one with the Heart of Jesus.
These two Hearts beat as one. Where Jesus is, there Mary is also. Blessed Mother Mary is called Our Lady of The Most Blessed Sacrament. We pray for union with The Sacred Eucharistic Heart of Jesus! We ask Our Blessed Mother Mary to pray for us. (From our August 2004 "Could you not watch one hour with Me?" Newsletter)

It sometimes happens, while I am listening to the meditation, that one word puts me in very close union with the Lord, and I no longer know what Father is saying. I know that I am close to the most merciful Heart of Jesus; my whole spirit is entirely plunged in Him, and in one moment I learn more than during long hours of intellectual inquiry and meditation.
These are sudden lights which permit me to know things as God sees them, regarding matters of both the interior and the exterior world. (733)

AUGUST 15 - THE ASSUMPTION OF OUR LADY
On this feast day in 1985, Our Lady said :
Dear children, today I am blessing you and I wish to tell you that I love you and that I urge you to live my messages. Today I am blessing you with the solemn blessing that the Almighty grants me (Weekly Message August 15, 1985).
And from the prophet Isaiah, almost as if he were speaking of the Assumption :
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you. Isaiah 60 :1-2
Reflection:
Today we celebrate the Assumption of Our Lady, body and soul, into heaven. Jesus preserved his mother's body form the corruption and the crowning glory of the human race.
In honoring the Blessed Virgin the Lord honors us all, for she too was human; her glory is reflected upon all her children. Our oneness with Mary is indicative of our awesome and mysteries unity with all people of all ages. Fr. Jozo teaches that we are not « beside » each other, but rather are « inside » one another. Our unity even embraces God himself, who became one with us through the incarnation :
I do not pray for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their word, that all may be one as you Father, are in me, and I in you; I pray that they may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me (Jn 17 :20-21).
In the mystery of our oneness we can perceive how our actions and prayer have a ripple effect on the entire Body of Christ; how our virtue as well as our sin has an effect far beyond ourselves.
Today we rejoice in the reflected glory of our Mother's Assumption. May the solemn blessing that she imparts to us on this feast bring us to a new awareness of our sacred communion with God and with one another.

China Is Flooding the American Market with Poisoned Products

L. began to receive words from God and said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood."
Then Father God spoke, "Today, again, I come to tell you to be very cautious as to where you shop and what you purchase. Most all of your clothing, automotive parts, oil, gas and the cars, buses, trains and even planes are made on foreign soil -- mostly from countries you have been or are at war with. Even those made here, your money is sent to the country of its origin.
Nearly all clothing, gas and machinery is being exported from China, Russia, Iraq and the Eastern countries where I am ignored by their leaders. Everything from these countries contains deadly materials and a portion of the 'chip.'
In your country, medicines are laced with poisons not intended to heal or cure. Your foods too are contaminated. There is nothing you can buy that is free from toxins, chemicals or poisons of some sort.
All water and air the world over is highly contaminated. The effects of all the above will take its toll on every living human, creatures and all plant life. The leaders of most countries do not believe in Me but rather in false gods.
This must soon end. I am sending many signs. Most, however, refuse to see My warnings but, rather, go on daily in their life of deadly sin; sin that will bring eternal death to your soul.
I implore you -- WAKE UP and CONVERT while there is yet time. My final call to you could be today.
Amen, all I have stated WILL BE!!!"

Sadly once again, we see the realization of certain private prophecy in the daily news. In this case, it is the importing of tainted food and other goods from certain countries - in particular, those imported from China.

It is no secret that the government of China opposes the culture and governments of the West. Certain Chinese military officials have stated that the USA is China's primary enemy. Further, there is increasing evidence that the Chinese government is continuing to make plans for a military engagement with the US.
Given China's history of indifference towards human life, is it any surprise then that there is increasing evidence of Chinese food goods exported to the USA that are tainted with toxins?

"For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of nether gloom to be kept until the judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven other persons, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomor'rah to ashes he condemned them to extinction and made them an example to those who were to be ungodly; and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the licentiousness of the wicked (for by what that righteous man saw and heard as he lived among them, he was vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.

L. began to receive a message from God and said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood."
Then Father God spoke, "Child, My anger can no longer be suppressed! A great punishment is due and I will chastise all people- -ALL people for their sins of omission and sins of commission. Also, you will feel and see the deadly acts of evil men -- men who worship and follow Satan.
The earth and ALL life is being destroyed. Few people accept all that is happening as signs of the End Times. I tell you children: be prepared in body, spirit, -- mentally and emotionally. Those not prepared will perish. A great disaster is in the offing.
There will be a great world-wide famine, illness, suffering and a complete darkness with many deaths. Many homes will be destroyed. There will be NO electric, NO heat, NO water, NO gas or oil, cars will be useless and money too.
PREPARE! Stock up on foods, heavy clothes, blankets, shoes or boots, a secondary source of light and heat. Purchase ALL necessities NOW! Listen to Me or perish. Time is extremely short.
Read ALL labels for poison content and purchase absolutely NOTHING from China -- NOTHING! I tell you again, this time is very, very near! DO NOT waste money or time on earthly pleasures but store up treasures in Heaven.
Love everyone! Forgive everyone! Pray for everyone! Come follow Me! There is nothing to fear IF YOU ARE PREPARED as I tell you. Live a simple life close to Me, close to nature for all your conveniences will soon no longer be available.
