Raising of the Widow's Son
Dear Friends,
Soon afterward he journeyed to a city called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd accompanied him. As he drew near to the gate of the city, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. A large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, "Do not weep."
He stepped forward and touched the coffin; at this the bearers halted, and he said, "Young man, I tell you, arise!" The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, exclaiming, "A great prophet has arisen in our midst," and "God has visited his people." This report about him spread through the whole of Judea and in all the surrounding region. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 7:11-17)

"I love you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered throughout the world. It is for each one of you that I came on earth to bring you salvation. I did this through great suffering and at the end I was killed by nailing Me to a cross.
When I was on earth I showed through many different ways the love I have for you. In bringing back to life the son of this widow, I did this because I had pity on this poor woman who was alone. I gave her back her son so that he could take care of her. I raised more than one person from the dead while I was on earth. This shows the divine power I possess because I am the Son of God who loves you all with all My heart.
Never doubt this infinite love I have for you. Every day come to Me and you will receive all the graces you need. I want you with Me in heaven."

The Healing of a Centurion's Slave
Dear Friends,
When Jesus had finished all his words to the people, he entered Capernaum. A centurion there had a slave who was ill and about to die, and he was valuable to him. When he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and save the life of his slave. They approached Jesus and strongly urged him to come, saying, "He deserves to have you do this for him, for he loves our nation and he built the synagogue for us." And Jesus went with them, but when he was only a short distance from the house, the centurion sent friends to tell him, "Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not consider myself worthy to come to you; but say the word and let my servant be healed. For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come here,' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it." When Jesus heard this he was amazed at him and, turning, said to the crowd following him, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith." When the messengers returned to the house, they found the slave in good health. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 7:1-10)
I will have a French retreat at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island starting next week on July 19 and it will finish on July 21. All French-speaking Catholics are welcome. And I will have an English Retreat in August at the same place; the August retreat will begin on August 16 at 2:00 p.m. and it will end on August 18 at noon. Everyone is welcome. There will be a Healing Mass on the second day of each retreat and a basket will be passed around for a love offering.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
"Believe in Me and be of good cheer, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in all parts of the world. I praised the Roman soldier who showed such great faith in Me. He knew that I had great power of healing and I did not even have to enter his house to heal this dying slave. At Holy Mass from the beginning, the believers have repeated the prayer of this centurion before receiving Me in Holy Communion. You say, ‘Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed.’ With these words you receive Me alive in the Holy Eucharist, the great gift of Myself to you.
Having seen such great faith I could not do otherwise but heal this poor sickly man, who returned to work for his master. How I wish that all of you would have this great faith and live with a heart full of love for Your Savior. Open your hearts and I will fill them with all the graces and strength I have for you. Be humble and repent of all your sins and you will have great joy and peace. I love you all."

July 14 - GOD COMES TO HELP EVERYONE
Questioned about curing the sick, the Virgin responded:
I cannot cure. God alone cures. Pray! I will pray with you. Believe firmly. Fast and do penance. I will help you as long as it is in my power to do so. God comes to help everyone. I am not God. I need your sacrifices and your prayers to help me (FY 12-83).
And in Matthew's gospel, the cure of a leper:
When Jesus had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed him; and there was a leper who came too him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean." He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I do choose. Be made clean!" Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Then Jesus said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them" (Mt 8:1-4).
Reflection:
In ancient Israel, leprosy was a feared disease since there was no known cure. The term was used for a variety of similar diseases, and some forms were contagious. If a person contracted the contagious type, a priest declared him a leper and banished him from his home and city. He was sent to live in a community with other lepers until he either got better or died.
Yet when the leper begged Jesus to heal him, Jesus reached out and touched him, even though his skin was covered with the dread disease. Through a single touch, Jesus heals; when he speaks a single word, demons flee his presence. As Our Lady affirms today, her Son has authority over all earthly disease and every form of evil. In the future, when God cleanses the earth from sin, there will be no more sickness and death. Jesus' healing miracles, in scripture as well as in Medjugorje, are a foretaste of what will one day be experienced in the kingdom of God.
Application:
Today, lift up to God in prayer those who are sick in body, mind, or spirit.
Remember them especially on your next fast day.

"Behold the source of every good, Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament, who says, If any man thirst, let him come to Me. When I approached the altar, God's presence pervaded my soul, I was plunged into the ocean of His divinity, and Jesus said to me, My daughter, all that exists is yours. I answered the Lord, "My heart wants nothing but You alone, O Treasure of my heart. For all the gifts You give me, thank you, O Lord, but I desire only Your Heart. Though the heavens are immense, they are nothing to me without You. You know very well, O Jesus, that I am constantly swooning because of my longing for You." Know this, My daughter, that you are already tasting now what other souls will obtain only in eternity. (969)
And all of a sudden, my soul was flooded with the light of the knowledge of God. Oh, would that I could express even a little of what my soul experiences when resting near the Heart of the incomprehensible Majesty! I cannot put it into words. Only a soul who has experienced such a grace at least once in is life, will recognize it. When I returned to my room, it seemed to me that I was coming from real life to death. When the doctor came to take my pulse, he was surprised: "Sister, what happened? You have never had a pulse like this! I would like to know what has speeded it up so much." What could I tell him, when I myself did not know that my pulse was so rapid. I only know that I am dying of yearning for God, but this I did not tell him, for how can medicine help in this instance? (970)

July 13 - DO NOT WORRY ABOUT MATERIAL THINGS
From Our Lady's weekly message of April 17,1986:
Dear Children, you are so preoccupied with material things that you lose everything
God wants to give you. Pray, then, dear children, for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They are necessary so that you can give witness to my presence here, and to all that I give you. Dear children, abandon yourselves to me so that I can guide you completely. Do not worry so much about material things (WM 4-17-86).
Jesus also asks us not to worry about the material:
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you?you of little faith!
And do not keep striving for what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not keep worrying. For it is the nations of the world that strive after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, strive for his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well (Lk 12:27-31).
Reflection:
The psychiatrist Erich Fromm once wrote, "In the sphere of material things, giving means being rich. Not he who has much is rich, but he who gives much." Material possessions have great significance in our world. Not only do we strive to own a special car, an expensive watch, and far more clothes than we need, but we also think in terms of possessing our spouse, or our health, or happiness, or things that cannot be owned. Some of us have become addicted to buying and owning things. Rather than enriching us, this possessive mentality impoverishes us. Tangible things enrich us only when we use and share them to improve our lives and the lives of others. Wise people have known for thousands of years that an individual's spirituality is deeply affected by his relationship to his possessions. When we respect what we own as a gift from God and share it with others, we open the door to a much deeper spirituality.
Application:
Today, pray that you will hold your possessions loosely and with respect, so they can be used well and shared.

July - 12 PRAY THE ROSARY
To the prayer group on Mr. Podbrdo, the Blessed Mother speaks of the rosary:
Dear Children, your Mother is so happy tonight to see you all. I wish to call you
again to pray the rosary, and to pray this month especially, because I am in need of your prayers (VPG 5-7-90).
Jesus speaks of persevering prayer in this passage from Luke:
Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart. He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor had respect for people. In that city there was a widow who kept coming to him and saying, `Grant me justice against my opponent.' For a while he refused; but later he said to himself, `Though I have no fear of God and no respect for anyone, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice, so that she may not wear me out by continually coming."
And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them?" (Lk 18:1-8)
Reflection:
Fr. Albert Shamon tells the story of Austria's great Rosary Crusade that liberated the country from Soviet control. At the end of World War II, the victorious allies pulled out of Austria and left it in Soviet hands. After three years of tyranny the Austrian people could no longer bear the communist yoke, but they were helpless to do anything. Then a certain priest named Pater Petrus was put in mind of a revered Austrian hero, Don John, who credited the rosary with his miraculous defeat of the Ottoman turks at Lepanto in 1591, though he was outnumbered three to one.
And so Fr. Peurus called for a Rosary Crusade against the occupying Soviets. He asked for a tithe: that ten percent of the Austrians, 700,000, would pledge to offer a daily rosary for the withdrawal of Russian forces from their country. The needed ten percent, 700,000 Austrians, made the pledge, and the Rosary Crusade continued for seven years. And then, on May 13, 1955, the anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, the Russians withdrew from Austria. Their evacuation made no sense. Austria was a war prize, industrialized, strategically located, and rich in natural resources. To this day historians are baffled by the pullout.
Application:
Do not hesitate to offer the rosary for great intentions: world peace, an end to abortion, the conversion of sinners, and the special intentions of the Blessed Mother. It was for such intentions as these that Our Lady came to Medjugorje to seek our help.

My dearly beloved daughter for many of My children who are frightened by My messages and find them hard to face up to then please listen to Me now. The evil that is escalating in the world is by the hand of mankind through sin. This cannot continue. Please do not fear for it will not change the plans now underway by the Evil One World Group. You My children need to be made aware of what is happening . It is important that everyone is warned about the actions of this Group and their sinister plans which they have created to control you.
Please welcome the warning
My Warning, the Great Act of Mercy is such a great gift of love so please welcome it for it will result in much conversion. Conversion will be so widespread that it will create a great sense of love and peace when My children have been humbled by this great event. Then there will be strength in their numbers. The more people who believe in The Truth the weaker then will be the impact of the New World Group. Prayer and much of it can avert much of the damage they will attempt to inflict. So please never forget to pray the Holy Rosary and the Divine Mercy for both combined will help wipe out much of this pending evil. Go now do not fear. Look with enthusiasm for a new beginning, a new peace where evil will be stamped out for good.

I said to Jesus: “Oh Jesus, You are so close to me today! Thank You for Your wonderful Presence, the beautiful day and being out with the family. I have been so happy at Your great kindness to me today ~ So I wanted to tell You thank You.”
And I heard: “Thank Me Patricia, for whatever I send you ~ joys or sorrows ~ all work to sanctify you. In trials as in smiles ~ be thankful. I always know what is best for you ~ for all My children ~ for whatever they need to come closer to Me in the moment ~ never doubt My goodness in every moment ~ always I am there ~ guarding you ~ loving you. Never fear or be uneasy no matter what happens. How I need the loving thoughts of My brothers and brides in this day when so many go away from Me ~ All My children, all my little ones ~ and yet I am there with all My love for all ~ make up for this with your loving gestures ~ your smile under fire ~ your readiness to do My will ~ Let Me see an eagerness in you to always please Me ~ rain or shine ~ You know I love everyone of you! And today the 14th of July this 2011 ~ as I was reading He and I ~ I felt to put something down, but I was feeling a bit off as the news was talking about the national debt. But I looked at the picture of Jesus in my kitchen and just had a paper out and pen….and then this went through me.. again I share with you to uplift and encourage. That is what I want most…to have hearts open to Him to listen. How he wants this with all souls! So here is what I heard in my poor heart to your hearts….
“Patricia…don’t be anxious for what I will say ~ just look at Me ~ within yourself or a picture { I have one in my kitchen of the Holy Face of the Shroud painted in by an artist } you have in your house ~ anywhere, beloved. ( one does not need a picture or the such I am thinking to myself. It is an aid at times to put oneself in His Divine Presence, but no matter where one is, if they turn to Him with a sincere heart that wants to listen to Him, that is what I believe He is looking for…)
Jesus: “The main thing is to put yourself in My Presence no matter where you are ~ or what you’re doing ~ I am there at every moment ~ waiting for you to recognize My Presence. That I am always near you and in you if you want Me to be ~ always invite Me with your gentleness ~ your request that I be with you ~ never leave Me! ALL of you ~ Get this firmly fixed in your mind ~ I am there waiting for any little word from your heart to Mine ~ So on fire with love for you all ~ My children ~ My brothers ~ My brides ~ Talk to Me My little ones ~ How I long to be the best part of your lives ~ always ~ You – Me ~ in time ~ in eternity.

The Healing of a Paralytic
Dear Friends,
One day as Jesus was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was with him for healing. And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; they were trying to bring him in and set him in his presence. But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles into the middle in front of Jesus. When he saw their faith, he said, "As for you, your sins are forgiven."
Then the scribes and Pharisees began to ask themselves, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who but God alone can forgive sins?" Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them in reply, "What are you thinking in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'?
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins'' - he said to the man who was paralyzed, "I say to you, rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home." He stood up immediately before them, picked up what he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying God. Then astonishment seized them all and they glorified God, and, struck with awe, they said, "We have seen incredible things today." (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 5:17-26)
We must all believe that prayers are powerful. I invite you, therefore, to inscribe yourself in the Book of Remembrance as many have done already. You simply write to me to inscribe yourself, the members of your family and your friends. Masses will be offered for them every Wednesday and Saturday for a full year and it only cost $15.00 a year for each person. Some have sent $1,000 to inscribe all their relatives and friends and others have sent $500 for the same reason; some though sent $30, $50 or more for some of the members of their families who are sick. Many have reported great healings and great conversions.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
"May peace reign in your heart, My brother Melvin, and in the hearts of all My brothers and sisters living in the world. I am the giver of great peace. Again the passage of the Bible shows the great power of healing I have. In healing this man who was paralyzed, I taught the people a great lesson. It is true that only God can forgive sins;
I showed the people that I was the Son of God by forgiving this man his sins. I proved what I said by healing him completely. He simply rose, took his stretcher and dancing went home. You can see that I have the power to heal the soul and to heal the body.
I gave this power to My priests and all of them have the power to forgive sins in the sacrament of penance. So go and receive this sacrament of My mercy. Priests too have the power to heal in My name if they wish to do so. I have sent them among you to teach you the truth, to give you the sacraments and especially to celebrate the Eucharist."

The Cleansing of a Leper
Dear Friends,
Now there was a man full of leprosy in one of the towns where he was; and when he saw Jesus, he fell prostrate, pleaded with him, and said, "Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean." Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I do will it. Be made clean."
And the leprosy left him immediately. Then he ordered him not to tell anyone, but "Go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them." The report about him spread all the more, and great crowds assembled to listen to him and to be cured of their ailments, but he would withdraw to deserted places to pray. (Passage from the Gospel of Luke 5:12-16)
When I was in Africa I worked with many lepers. During the first years in the parish there, I was in charge to give the lepers their medicine. They would come every month to receive what they needed. A doctor would come once a year to examine those who thought they had the sickness. I also would go and celebrate Holy Mass in a leprosy village when I was working in the Kasama parish.
This is a terrible disease which brings much pain and it is very contagious. Today, however, they have a medication that can stop the disease and one cannot transfer this leprosy to another person anymore. There are many in Africa that have this disease.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
"I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living all over the world. I want you all to have good health and to continue living in My peace. I know there are many that are sick from all kinds of sicknesses. One of the worst is leprosy, which is prevalent in many warm countries. When I was on earth, I met many who had this disease and those who came to Me I cured them. With one word from Me, the leprosy was gone. In those days, the lepers had to live far from the people because this disease was so contagious. I showed the people that I have all power and can even heal those with leprosy.
There is another spiritual leprosy and that is grievous sin. It can destroy the soul just like leprosy destroys the body. I am the only one who can cure this spiritual leprosy. So repent and do not sin again."

July 10 - JESUS GIVES HIMSELF AT THE MASS
Speaking of the Mass, the Blessed virgin said to Jelena, My children, I wish that the holy Mass would be the day’s gift to you. Attend it, wish for it to begin. Jesus gives himself to you at the Mass. Therefore, look forward to that moment, for than you are cleansed. Pray a great deal that the Holy Spirit will renew your parish, for if people attend Mass with lukewarmness, they will return to their homes cold, with an empty heart. (LJM 3-30-84)
St. Mark offers us this account of Jesus’ institution of the Eucharist:
While they were eating, he took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, and
all of them drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the
covenant, which is poured out for many.” (Mk 14:22-24
Reflection:
The Mass is by far the most precious gift of God to his people, for it is the gift of himself. St. Augustine wrote that, “Although God is all powerful, he is unable to give more; though supremely wise, he knows not how to give more; though vastly rich, he has no more to give.”
St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the great theologians of the church wrote that, “The celebration of holy Mass is as valuable as the death of Jesus on the cross.”
Padre Pio, the contemplative friar who carried the wounds of Christ, made the remarkable statement that, “It would be easier for the world to survive without the sun than to do so without the holy Mass.”
And last, from Pope Pius X, who allowed children to receive communion:
“If angels could envy, they would envy us holy communion.”
Application:
Today, reflect prayerfully on these lines from St. Anthony Claret:
When we go to holy communion, all of us receive the same Lord Jesus, but not all receive the same grace...Our differences in disposition are the reason. When a branch is grafted on a tree, the more similar the branch is to the tree, the better the graft will succeed. Likewise, the more the one going to holy communion resembles Jesus, the better will the fruits of holy communion be.

Tell My children to wake up now and see the turmoil in the world where financial crises abound. Tell them that while people´s greed was partly responsible for plunging them into debt that the banking crisis was deliberately planned by the One World Order.

My Father´s hand is ready to fall now with great force on those wicked arrogant leaders of banks, Western and Eastern powers who plan in secret how they aim to control all of you. My Eternal Father will destroy everything in their wake to prevent them from the final persecution they are planning against His children. He won´t stand for it. Remember children, God the Eternal Father wants to protect you all. His patience has finally run out. He will, up to the very last minute, accept those who turn to Him for forgiveness. However He now has to stop those evil regimes from the horror they inflict on the rest of His creation.
It is because of the love of His children He does this. For those who say God, the Father, cannot be angry for he loves all know this. Yes, he is angry and his anger is justified because of the evil injustice which is being perpetrated on his precious family. Once again He will unite all His children to live in peace finally for all of eternity.
Remember children to see the signs all around you, the multitude of wars, lack of money, lack of food, lack of healthcare and accept that this is the work of the Evil One. It is not the work of God the Eternal Father. He will no longer accept this behavior. Be thankful He is taking action for if He did not His creation would be destroyed.
