The leaves of the Hawthorn, not the wood, can arrest the progress of this disease."

"You will gather the leaves, not the wood. Even dry, they will keep their efficacy.

You will put them into boiling water and leave them there for 14 minutes, covering the receptacle so that the steam remains therein.

At the onset of this disease, one must use this remedy three times a day."

"This disease will produce a continual vomiting and nausea. If the remedy is taken too late, the part of the body affected will become black and in the black there will be seen a sort of pale, yellow streak."

Daily Consecration to the Eternal Father

For the greater glory of God and for the salvation of all, I consecrate myself to You, O' Eternal Father, as one of Your faithful remnant. Behold, I come to do Your Will. With the help of Your Grace, I will keep Your Commandments. I will love and reverence You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I will love my neighbor as You love me.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, Protectress of Africa, you have given to the world the true Light, Jesus Christ. Through your obedience to the Father and the grace of the Holy Spirit, you have given us the source of our reconciliation and our justice, Jesus Christ, our peace and our joy.

Mother of Tenderness and Wisdom, show us Jesus, your Son and the Son of God. Guide our path of conversion, so that Jesus might shine his glory on us in every aspect of our personal, familial and social lives.

Mother, full of Mercy and Justice, through your docility to the Spirit, the Counselor, obtain for us the grace to be witnesses of the Risen Lord, so that we will increasingly become the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

Mother of Perpetual Help, we entrust to your maternal intercession the preparation and fruits of the Second Special Assembly for Africa. Queen of Peace, pray for us! Our Lady of Africa, pray for us!

Dear Friends,

Paul’s Call by Christ

Now I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. For I did not receive it from a human being, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. For you heard of my former way of life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it, and progressed in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my race, since I was even more a zealot for my ancestral traditions. But when God, who from my mother’s womb had set me apart and called me through his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, so that I might proclaim him to the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; rather, I went into Arabia and then returned to Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to confer with Kephas and remained with him for fifteen days. But I did not see any other of the apostles, only James the brother of the Lord. As to what I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying. Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. And I was unknown personally to the churches of Judea that are in Christ; they only kept hearing that the one who once was persecuting us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy. So they glorified God because of me. Galatians 1:11-24

Here is a message from Our Lord and Savior given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words,

St. Paul is a saint and in heaven today but he was not always a believer. He was born a Jew and lived strictly as a Jew. When he heard about the Church I founded, he tried with all his strength to destroy it.

He was present at the stoning of St. Stephen and he traveled around arresting the Christians and throwing them in jail. However, one day on his way to Damascus, he received a great experience. I intervened in his life by showing him that indeed I am the Messiah. He was converted and began to work hard for the conversion of the Gentiles, the non-Jews.

If St. Paul a great persecutor of the Church was converted, then many other non-believers can be converted too. There are thousands of conversions every day throughout the world. Pray, My friends, for this intention every day. I want that all the people of the world may come to believe in Me and follow Me and one day they will be with Me in heaven.. Answer all the questions of the people who come to you or send them to someone who can help them. Pray for the great gift of faith for all these people.

"You are to worship God alone"

Dear Friends,

Loyalty to the Gospel

I am amazed that you are so quickly forsaking the one who called you by the grace of Christ for a different gospel (not that there is another). But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!

As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed!

Am I now currying favor with human beings or God? Or am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ. Now I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. For I did not receive it from a human being, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:6-12

It was sunny most of the day yesterday but it was windy and cold for this time of the year. We had no rain during the night but today it will be cloudy and colder.

Below you will find the message given by Our Lord and Savior to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words:

"St. Paul was really amazed that some of the Galatians should forsake the Gospel he taught them for any teaching which goes against the Gospel. There are always false teachers spreading a teaching that is contrary to what I brought you when I was on earth. Instead of the Gospel they teach the laws of the Jews or the false laws that originated in society. There are some today who go around preaching that it is not a sin to kill the unborn and they call people to enter New Age, a very false religion, which does not come from Me.

There is only one Gospel which I left My Church and through the graces I won, My Church will be faithful to this Gospel until the end. There is only one, the successor of St. Peter, who has infallible authority to teach the truth and only the truth. Listen to him and be a member of the church he governs. It is the truth that there is a baby in the womb of his mother from the day of conception. All are to respect that life created by God the Father, Himself.

New Age teaches that each person is god, when the truth is that there is only one God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is the Creator, the Savior and the Sanctifier of the peoples of the world. You are to worship God alone and no one else."

"I want a deep friendship with you"

Dear Friends,

Examine Yourselves

This third time I am coming to you. "On the testimony of two or three witnesses a fact shall be established." I warned those who sinned earlier and all the others, and I warn them now while absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come again I will not be lenient, since you are looking for proof of Christ speaking in me. He is not weak toward you but powerful in you. For indeed he was crucified out of weakness, but he lives by the power of God.

So also we are weak in him, but toward you we shall live with him by the power of God. Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?-unless, of course, you fail the test. I hope you will discover that we have not failed.

But we pray to God that you may not do evil, not that we may appear to have passed the test but that you may do what is right, even though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. For we rejoice when we are weak but you are strong. What we pray for is your improvement. 2 Cor 13:1-9

"St. Paul, My Apostle, was a man of great faith who never feared to tell the truth. I spoke to him often about the situation in the churches he had founded. He wrote many letters to these churches teaching them about the truth I preached while I was on earth and to call the people to repentance and a change of life.

You too must examine yourselves and see where you stand. Only sin can separate us and if you continue in sin, I cannot live in you. Sin also destroys all the good you have done. It is a serious offense against Me, your Savior and Lord, who died on the cross for you.

It is a fact that you are weak but if you live in Me then you will be strong. I call you all who have sinned to repent of all your sins and to make a firm resolution never to commit sin again. Then My sacrifice for you has not been in vain and I will wash away all your sins and fill you with the graces you need.

I will come and live in your heart and you will be filled with light, peace, love and joy. Be like St. Paul and pray every day knowing that I always listen to your prayers. I want a deep friendship with you."

"I am your Saviour"

Dear Friends,

Visions and Revelations

...I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know someone in Christ who, fourteen years ago (whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows), was caught up to the third heaven. And I know that this person ... was caught up into Paradise and heard ineffable things, which no one may utter. About this person I will boast, but about myself I will not boast, except about my weaknesses.

Although if I should wish to boast, I would not be foolish, for I would be telling the truth. But I refrain, so that no one may think more of me than what he sees in me or hears from me because of the abundance of the revelations. Therefore, that I might not become too elated, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, an angel of Satan, to beat me, to keep me from being too elated.

Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it might leave me, but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:1-10

Here is the message of Our God and Lord given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words,

"My great friend, St. Paul, experienced may wonderful visions and revelations that came from Me. The story he gives of this person taken up to the third heaven refers to himself.

He is the one who had this experience. Although he did experience many great things, he suffered very much in his life as an Apostle. What helped him is that he offered himself totally to Me and I made him strong to go through all these sufferings.

My dear friends, follow the example of St. Paul who committed his whole life to Me and simply followed the way I showed him. He was never discouraged but always found strength to continue even when it seemed impossible. Never give up but call upon Me and I will be there to help you. I am your Savior who died for you on the cross because I love you with all My heart."

If only you would put up with a little foolishness from me. Please put up with me. For I am jealous of you with the jealousy of God, since I betrothed you to one husband to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts may be corrupted from a sincere and pure commitment to Christ.

For if someone comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough.

For I think that I am not in any way inferior to these "superapostles." Even if I am untrained in speaking, I am not so in knowledge; in every way we have made this plain to you in all things. 2 Cor 11:1-6

Here is a message from Our Lord and Savior given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words,
"You know that I am the bridegroom and if you believe in Me then you are the bride. You have to come to know Me especially through reading the Bible, listening to the preaching of those who are commissioned to do so and by prayer. Your commitment to Me has to be sincere.

You are not to believe for a while and then fall away. Do not let yourself be deceived by the evil one like the serpent deceived Eve and she did what was unlawful to do

.
Today there are many who are teaching falsehood about Me. They say that I was a sinner like them but the truth is that I never committed a sin. Some say that I am not divine but just a human being. This too is false as I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.

Some say that the Church I founded on the Apostles is not the true church. How false that is because I founded it and it is the only true church on earth. All the others are purely man made. Some say that Christians should worship and go to church on Saturday like the Jews.

The truth is that I rose from the dead on Sunday and it has become the day of rest for Christians and I approved it through the Apostles. Remain united to My Church and the truth will be preached to you and you will be lead the right way to heaven. I love you, for you are My bride."

Dear Friends,

The Woman and the Dragon

When the dragon saw that it had been thrown down to the earth, it pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she could fly to her place in the desert, where, far from the serpent, she was taken care of for a year, two years, and a half-year. The serpent, however, spewed a torrent of water out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the torrent.

But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth and swallowed the flood that the dragon spewed out of its mouth. Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God’s commandments and bear witness to Jesus. It took its position on the sand of the sea. Revelation 12:13-18

Here is a message from Our Blessed Mother given to Joseph. Our Lady spoke to him these words,

When My Son Jesus was born a war began between Him and the evil one, the old dragon. The dragon tried all he could to bring Jesus to his side but of course he did not succeed. I was caught in that war waged by Satan. Soon after His birth, the King tried to kill Him so Joseph and I had to flee to Egypt with the Baby Jesus. There we were at peace but after Jesus came back to Israel and when He started His public life the war started in earnest once more. It was through the influence of the evil one that the Jewish leaders had Jesus condemned to death and nailed to the cross.

However, through all this suffering Jesus, the Son of God and My Son, offered His supreme sacrifice for the remission of all sins. He is your Savior and come now and believe in Him.

It is time to shake the world so that you will come out of your stupor. Great things will happen in the future to wake you up and to bring you all to your senses. You will know that Jesus is at work and He will show you where your destiny lies. You, too, have to say no to the devil as I did and call on your Lord to save you.. I am your Mother calling you.

The Days Ahead

Today I spent time alone with Jesus in adoration. I thanked Jesus for His many blessings and made small offerings to both Jesus and Mary. I prayed for all with special needs and intentions.

Then on my knees, I prayed this prayer saying: Speak Lord (if it be Your will), Your servant listens. Jesus responded saying: My child Eileen, the world as it once was will soon no longer be. Take your rest in Me and may My peace see you through these changing times. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers and sisters. Amen.

Note: As Jesus spoke, I understood His words to mean that the world politically, economically, spiritually and environmentally would soon be taking on a new shape and a new meaning, one that would be far less comfortable than the world we have known thus far.

SEPT 19 - LOVE WITH ALL YOUR HEART

The Queen of Peace speaks of love today:

If you love with all your heart, you will receive so much. If you hate, you will lose every thing. Dear Children, love makes great things. The more love you have within you, the more you can love the people around you. That is why I ask you to pray unceasingly to Jesus that he fill your hearts with love (LJM 4-12-87).

Christ also speaks of the great commandment:

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. (John 15:12-13).

Reflection:

Captain George Grant gives us a unique example of love in action. Several years ago he was given an extraordinary award for saving 106 lives during his fifty years at sea. His rescues included two men on a sinking fishing boat in the Gulf Stream, three others on a raft off the west coast of Mexico, seventeen sailors from a naval vessel that sank outside of San Francisco harbor, as well as eighty-three survivors of a collision between a tanker and an icebreaker.

The most unique rescue involved one of his own sailors who fell overboard and was not missed until several hours later. The captain immediately turned his ship about and retraced the exact course. After a careful search the seaman was eventually picked up unharmed.

Few of us can duplicate such dramatic feats of love, but in our own lives we have countless opportunities to love others by showing a Christ like concern and alertness for those in distress.

Application:

As Our Lady says today, "Pray to Jesus that he may fill your hearts with love," and be on the lookout for those in trouble.

SEPT 18 - OBSERVE THE COMPLETE FASTS

In August of 1985, Our Lady told Ivan: Observe the complete fasts, Wednesdays and Fridays. Pray at least the full rosary, the Joyful, Sorrowful, and the Glorious Mysteries (SM 8-14-85).

St. John The Baptist is seen fasting in Mark's gospel, but not in the usual way:

John the baptizer appeared in the wilderness, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And the people from the whole Judean countryside and all the people from the whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem were going out to him, and were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. Now John was clothed with camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey (Mark 1:4-6).Reflection:

In Medjugorje, of course, Our Lady has asked for a return to the ancient practice of fasting. Once, in response to the question, "What is the best kind of fast?" the Virgin responded, "Bread and water."

Fr. Slavko Barbaric, who has been in Medjugorje since the apparitions began, states that, "We recognize that bread and water is not the only way to fast, but it is the `best' way, according to the Madonna." Fr. Slavko suggests that most people need to grow into this kind of fasting. If someone has never fasted at all, it could be very discouraging to fast on bread and water only, unless he has received a special call from the Lord.

"There are other ways of fasting," he says, "which will accomplish the same objectives in us and, at the same time, help us to move toward the best fast." As examples, he mentions fasting from certain foods, eating foods without seasoning, eating what we normally dislike, foregoing desserts, or simply eating considerably less at each meal. "These are just a few ways of fasting related to food. The important thing is that we begin to fast in some way." Application:

St. John the Baptist fasted on locusts and wild honey, something that would probably kill us, but which suited his own spirituality. We have the freedom to choose our way of fasting. Today, then, while in prayer choose your fast for the next several weeks.

SEPT 17 - ST. ROBERT BELLARMINE

Our Lady gave this message of joy on Good Fridays in 1984:

You should be filled with joy. Today, Jesus died for your salvation. He descends into hell and opens the gates of paradise. Let joy reign in your hearts! (Locutionists Jelena & Mirjana March 20, 1984).

The promise of eternal life also marks this passage form John's gospel:

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself; so that where I am, there you may be also (Jn14:1-3).

Reflection:

In his treatise "On the Ascent of the Mind to God," St. Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621) wrote:

It is not true that you promise those who keep your commandments a reward more desirable than great wealth and sweeter than honey? You promise a most abundant reward, for as your apostle James says: "The Lord has prepared a crown of life for those who love him."

What is this crown of life? It is surely a greater good than we can conceive of or desire, as St. Paul says, quoting Isaiah: "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love him." These three readings all bear witness to the greatest promise of Christianity: eternal life. It is from this perspective that we are called to view life, a journey that culminates in sharing the life of God.

This certainly was the motivating force behind the life and work of Robert Bellarmine. Recognized as a brilliant scholar and preacher, he was named cardinal and bishop by Pope Clement VIII. Living in the stormy times following the Council of Trent, he became one of the church's greatest teachers. Thomas Jefferson in writing the Declaration of Independence incorporated his teaching on the inalienable rights of man.

In his personal life he was an austere ascetic, and tried always to live as closely as possible like the poor of his day.. He died on this day in 1621, was canonized in 1930, and the following year declared a Doctor of the Church.

Application: The Mother of God remind us: "[Christ] opens the gates of paradise. Let joy reign in your hearts!" Today reflect on your own experience of loss or death and take comforts in the words of Christ and the Virgin. And so You see, Jesus, that everything is now up to You. I am perfectly at peace, despite these great urgings. For my part, I have done everything, and it is now Your turn, my Jesus, and in this way Your cause will be made apparent. I am totally in accord with Your will; do with me as You please, O Lord, but only grant me the grace of loving You more and more ardently.

This is what is most precious to me. I desire nothing but You, O Love Eternal! It matters not along what paths You will lead me, paths of pain or paths of joy. I want to love You at every moment of my life. If You tell me to leave, O Jesus, in order to carry out Your will, I will leave. If You tell me to stay, I will stay. It matters not what I will suffer, in the one instance or the other. O my Jesus, if I leave, I know what I shall have to suffer and endure.

I agreed to this with full awareness, and I have already accepted it by an act of the will. It does not matter what the chalice holds for me. It is enough for me to know that it has been given to me by the loving hand of God. If you tell me to turn back and stay, I will stay in spite of all the interior urgings.

If You still keep them in my soul and leave me in this inner agony even to the end of my life, I accept this in the full consciousness of my will and in loving submission to You, O my God. If I stay, I shall hide myself in Your mercy, my God, so deeply that no human eye will see me. Throughout my life, I want to be a thurible filled with hidden fire, and may the smoke rising up to You, O Living Host, be pleasing to You. Reflection:

On this feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, it is important to recall why the Blessed Virgin came to Medjugorje in the first place: "The world today," she said, "is plunged into sin." Mary does not want to discourage us in her description of the modern world. But she wants us to be aware of the situation so we can help in changing it.

Our Lady of Sorrows gives us five weapons to combat the darkness of sin and hate, and it is fitting to review them once again:

1) Prayer: "Pray, and let the rosary be in your hands as a Sign to Satan that you belong to me" (February 25, 1988);

2) Fasting: "The Devil is trying to conquer you. Do not permit him. Keep faith, fast, and pray" (November 16,1981);

3) Scripture reading: "I call you to read the Bible every day in your home" (October 18, 1984);

4) Confession: "It is necessary to believe firmly, to go to confession regularly, and, likewise, to receive Holy Communion. It is the only salvation" (February 10, 1982);

5) Holy Mass: "Mass is the greatest prayer of God.

You will never be able to understand its greatness" (1983).

Application:

In praying the Sorrowful Mysteries today, use as your intention for each mystery one of the five messages Our Lady gives us, asking that she help us live it more fully.

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.(Rev. 12:1).

The Earth Is A Temporary State

At the 8:00 AM Mass at our parish, Our Lady of Sorrows, I made small offerings to Jesus and Mary and prayed for all with special needs and intentions. In preparation of receiving the most sacred Body and Blood of Christ in the sacrament of Holy Communion, I made an Act of Contrition.

After receiving the Host, I knelt in silent commune with Jesus with both hands covering my face to remain focused on Jesus. I asked Jesus to remove all sight and sound from my internal being, heart and mind. I gave thanks to God and professed my eternal love for Him.

Then I prayed; speak Lord (always if it be His will), Your servant listens.

Jesus responded to my prayer saying; Eileen My child, wake up and take note that the world as I created it is rapidly changes. All that man has created upon the earth is also rapidly decaying. All the while, My creatures are still planning and working toward an eternity on earth.

This time on earth is given only for the reason of working toward an eternity with Me in My Kingdom. Therefore I say unto you, do not waste the little time that is left to begin to make reparation for your sins and prepare for what is to come.

Those who know Me and follow My Commandments will spend eternity with me in heave. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your sisters and brothers. Amen?

My dear little children, praised be Jesus!

I love you, children. God is so kind and merciful that He continues to suffer as long as there are so many people and souls that desire to remain far away from Him. He wants all to be gathered together.

Children, this world is in trouble; and I have given to you many circumstances, situations and warnings. I have cautioned you. I have identified to you many things that are to come in hope that you and your loved ones would pray and change. For many years I have, with the blessing of the Holy Trinity, been allowed to come here in this country to you; and I have been pushed aside.

Do you realize, even today with all that is unfolding, many people speak about all the issues I have foretold would happen, and do not recognize the presence of God's blessing, a gift from Heaven, your Mother? What you do with this gift now rests with you.

It was the same in the time of Noah. People were eating and making merry. They were marrying, and they were enjoying themselves before the Great Flood. Now the world tilts on its axis; the stars align, and the planets and the constellations of the stars change; and yet, people, as in Noah's time, are enjoying themselves, making merry, marrying, and not paying attention.

Perhaps you are not so confident in God's Love that you would trust the words of His Mother. And if and when, in God's time and pleasure, the Angel's sword strikes, will you be frightened, confused and selfish, or will you be detached, giving and all-available unto death?

God is real, children. Heaven is real. Hell is real, and Satan is real. You would be wise to pay attention, and vigilance should be a way of life for you. If those who are chosen by God receive words from Heaven and accept them one day and yet pass them off the next, what do you think those who do not love God and who are indifferent will do?

His pain is already there; your pain could begin. The key is confidence and filial trust in God's Love; and it's time now to separate yourself out and walk into the Light of God so that others may follow you.

LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE IN YOUR COUNTRY OF THE UNITED STATES. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT YOUR COUNTRY IS SUFFERING FROM THIS H1N1 WHICH IS THE SWINE FLU, AND IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN AND WHERE?

IN COLLEGES , UNIVERSITIES, AND ALREADY THAT THESE SCHOOLS HAVE JUST OPENED IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS, THERE’s OVER THREE THOUSAND CASES.

AS THEY SAY: THE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS IF IT’s A FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS WHY EVEN TALK ABOUT IT? NO IT IS THE SWINE FLU, AND UNFORTUNATELY MY DEAR CHILDREN IT WILL GET WORSE AS TIME GOES ON INTO THE WINTER TIME. AND BE NOT SURPRISED IF THERE IS ANOTHER TYPE OF EPIDEMIC THAT WILL ALSO OCCUR IN THIS FUTURE WINTER.
