The Cure of a Demoniac
Dear Friends,
Jesus then went down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee. He taught them on the sabbath, and they were astonished at his teaching because he spoke with authority.
In the synagogue there was a man with the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out in a loud voice, "Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are - the Holy One of God!" Jesus rebuked him and said, "Be quiet!
Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and came out of him without doing him any harm. They were all amazed and said to one another, "What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." And news of him spread everywhere in the surrounding region. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 4:31-37)
The story above brings me back many memories of both in Africa and here at home. When I was in Africa I prayed with many people who were possessed by evil spirits. I prayed with young adults and with older people too. I found that if a person is possessed, he or she had to open oneself to the evil one by doing things to attract the devil. Some went to Voodoo or to medicine men who did all kinds of demonic things with them.
Here in our country, people play the Ouija board, others go to Reiki, which is part of New Age, and others might have gone to Wicca or any of these things. In doing so they open themselves to be possessed by the devil.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
"Come close to Me, My brother Melvin, and all of you, My brothers and sisters. Remain united to Me and you will not be possessed by the evil one. More and more people these days are possessed because they get involved in demonic practices.
If you turn to the evil one, then you have lost My help and you are opened to be oppressed by evil spirits. There are many evil spirits in the world today as it was when I was on earth. I chased away many of them like this man in the synagogue in Capernaum.
I just had to say, 'Come out of him' and the evil one was gone. If you think you are possessed go and see a priest and he will help you. I urge you all to remain with Me and do not take part in the Occult."

The Raising of Lazarus
Dear Friends,
Now a man was ill, Lazarus from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. Mary was the one who had anointed the Lord with perfumed oil and dried his feet with her hair; it was her brother Lazarus who was ill.
So the sisters sent word to him, saying, "Master, the one you love is ill." ... When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. ... So Jesus... came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay across it. Jesus said, "Take away the stone."
Martha, the dead man's sister, said to him, "Lord, by now there will be a stench; he has been dead for four days." Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?" So they took away the stone. And Jesus raised his eyes and said, "Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they may believe that you sent me."
And when he had said this, he cried out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, tied hand and foot with burial bands, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. So Jesus said to them, "Untie him and let him go." (Passage from the Gospel of John 11:1-3, 17, 38-44)

The Man Born Blind
Dear Friends,
As Jesus passed by he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so that the works of God might be made visible through him. We have to do the works of the one who sent me while it is day.
Night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world." When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva, and smeared the clay on his eyes, and said to him, "Go wash in the Pool of Siloam".
So he went and washed, and came back able to see. His neighbors and those who had seen him earlier as a beggar said, "Isn't this the one who used to sit and beg?" Some said, "It is," but others said, "No, he just looks like him." He said, "I am." So they said to him, "So how were your eyes opened?" He replied, "The man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and told me, 'Go to Siloam and wash.' So I went there and washed and was able to see."
And they said to him, "Where is he?" He said, "I don't know." (Passage from the Gospel of St. John 9:1-12)

"I fill you with My light, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. I am the light of the world and I have all power, as I am the Son of God. Have you ever seen a person born blind recover his or her sight? Only one with the power of God can restore sight to such a person. When I was on earth I gave sight to a man born blind. The people accepted it as a great miracle because they had never seen such a thing. It was important that such miracles happen because they show My love for those who suffer and at the same time show that I have the power of God to do such miracles.
I healed him in My own name. Come, My friends, and believe in your Savior who is the Son of God. I am equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. I came on earth to open heaven for you by My suffering and death on the cross. I love you."

Reflection:
"Come, Love! Sing On! Let me hear you sing this song?sing for joy and laugh, for I the Creator am truly subject to all creatures," sings the mystic Mechtild of Magdeburg. Truly life without joy and song and playfulness is incomplete. The beauty of music uplifts our spirits and shows us the face of our Creator.
For many, music is also a means of meditation and contact with God. When we experience the creativity of a musical piece, as it speaks to us, we take a step beyond the practical world, into the profound level of creation.
Some might say, "How can you celebrate when there is so much suffering, so much to grieve about?" Yet we have all grieved: we continue to grieve alongside our joy. But we need not pour all our energies into the painful and sad. Life is also wonderful. Music and dance and the joy of love enrich our lives and strengthen us to go on.

My dearly beloved daughter you must move forward , look straight ahead and follow My instructions. Do not turn to the side when you are being assailed by The Evil One every minute of the day. Focus on Me only. You must learn to understand that time spent in My company especially at Adoration is essential if you are to keep on top of this mission. The length of time spent in prayer is also important because the longer you spend in close communication with Me the more graces you will receive. Failure to do so will mean that you are leaving yourself wide open to attacks from The Deceiver.
My word, My daughter, is being ignored by many who do not want to listen. There are many reasons for this. Many of My children today have closed their eyes to the truth of their spiritual existence. They embrace the world and all it offers as a substitute for the bread of life. Many are also wary of false prophets for this is the age in which false prophets will emerge everywhere. This is the confusion that Satan wants to cause so that those genuine messengers of mine go unoticed. Because of the humililty required by My chosen visionaries they cannot exalt themselves in the eyes of the world for it is not in their nature. The false visionaries will push themselves into the limelight.
Their focus will be centred on themselves. Their messages may seem authentic and full of flowery language featuring extracts from the Holy Bible where it suits, but there will be two key aspects to their messages that will expose them for the untruths they impart. The first is that they will be central to the messages and will enjoy all of the attention they receive. Then finally you have the messages themselves. They will be confusing, hard to read and will not leave a lasting impression on the soul. Sadly, My daughter the Church tends to ignore the authentic seers because they must show responsibility in these matters.
It is, therefore, far easier for My church to support those messages which include extracts from the Holy Bible to declare these to be authentic. Not so easy is it for them to accept the simplicity of My teachings especially when today much of the truth hides behind the mask of tolerence. Not easily accepted either is the reminder of the End Times when, through fear and ignorance, those Sacred Servants of Mine refuse to take up My cup and act responsibly.
This is the most important time in the history of the world. All the signs have been given to My visionaries throughout the last century yet they are ignored and shoved aside as they bury their heads in the sand. It is precisely at this time that My sacred servants much preach about the importance of My return to earth. They must prepare souls by reminding them of the consequences of failing to redeem themselves while they are still on this earth. For they cannot ask for forgiveness after death. I call on My Sacred Servants now. Why won´t you emphasise this to your flock?
Why do you not actively discuss the repercussions for My Children during the great chastisement? Dont you know that many of My children will lose their souls to the Anti-Christ who is already here on this earth ready to spring as he waits in the wings. My children must understand that The Warning, while a great act of Mercy, is only the first phase in what will be a very difficult and challenging time for all My children. For after that those hardened sinners and followers of Satan will deny My existence after that. Atheists will say it was a global illusion. Scientists will look for a logical explanation but there wont be one. Meanwhile My followers will be torn in two. Many millions will have converted but they will be confused by the lies spread by the Evil Group, the One World deadly organisation whose goal is to destory the little people for their own financial gain.
Children if enough people cannot stay on the true path then it will not be possible to avert the impact of the Chastisement. For this is when God the Father will move to stop sinners from destroying His creation and His children. He will unleash earthquakes on a magnitured never experienced before, volcanos in the most unlikely places and the earth will be tossed like a ship in rough waters with no anchor to hold it in one place.
Please children allow The Warning to save you all. Accept that this miracle will help save millions who, otherwise, would have been lost. But for those who do not want to change their lives they will chose the house of Satan. Without prayer there is no hope for them for they will forfeit the keys of the New Paradise on earth. Instead they will burn in the fires of Hell. If they knew where this the Evil Path is leading them do you think they would change their ways? Children please help them by telling them the truth. Pray to save their souls if they wont listen. For that is all you can do.

Jesus is here with His Heart exposed. He says: "I am your Jesus, born Incarnate." He is holding a white flag with a red cross on it.
"My brothers and sisters, I have a plan - a plan which will hasten the coming of the New Jerusalem here on earth. My plan is this - that each of you works diligently towards coming deeper into Our United Hearts in every present moment."

Me: I understand now (through my experiences in being an instrument of healing of different persons) that suffering
is the way our Lord brings about a greater conversion of a soul. Suffering within my marriage allowed me to grow in
many areas: patience, silence, a deeper trust in Him, trying to be more selfless, (litany of humility) and a greater
ability to not let humiliations bring me down but rather a greater acceptance, toleration due to a trust in His love and
desire for my life to blossom within His Heart.
(the word suffering is repeated over and over)
Mama Mary: The hour is late. Many wolves in sheep’s clothes can and do harm my children. You now see how in
so many ways we are at the valley of great darkness just before the dawn.. But this is why my presence is also
more strongly shown, felt by all my humble children in order to shield you from the attacks.
Remember that you do not understand the plan of God and how everything flows and will unify. Yet you are allowed
glimpses of how divine coincidences come about. In the Spirit of true gratitude and humility will you best find His peace.
Jesus: In your marriage to X, he had the necessary weaknesses that would allow you to grow in so many ways,
in the virtues lacking still in you, patience, endurance, silence, compassion, trust. The family’s state of tension, loss of
trust from betrayals, pushed you to a corner and it was necessary because you trusted yourself so much. You had
learned a great self sufficiency (from your living in the states) that pride was so high. You needed a humble and contrite
heart to be able to enter and grow within my heart. You needed to be stripped of this self sufficiency, in order for you to
grow in nothingness. In your understanding of nothingness, which is the world’s, it is a loss to be a nothing. To you,
a nothing is a person without a voice, without recognition or praise, forgotten and of no worth. But it is a striving to
nothing, I tell you that you gain entry to My heart. Recall the litany of humility: 'Sweet Jesus, deliver me from the desire to be loved,
extolled, praised, consulted, honoured, …Sweet Jesus, deliver me from the fear of suffering rebukes, humiliations, of being
calumniated…
The ways of the world remember are opposed to My ways. To be nothing is a great striving for. It is to the great nothings
of this world, those who suffer humiliations, rebukes, who put others first, who do not need the other’s praise, and
adoration, that our Father most certainly and tenderly draws fully into his Divine Heart. For to the nothings, they have
emptied themselves of any sense of false worth of this world.
Yes you are a sinner always prone to a certain propensity for particular sins – aggressiveness, impatience, disobedience,
lust, pride, envy. And through all the trials you go through, you at first were thinking God does not love me, he does not
hear my calls and prayers.
Yet, in undoing all the false images you held on to, and still hold on to, it was necessary to let you suffer until you could
see that in the suffering much is your souls’ journey already to the truth, about salvation, about the necessity of struggles,
of emptying oneself of so many false values of this world. All are necessary because humility which the world Hates, hates
hates, is that precious trait your Father looks for in a soul, so his saving action, the Holy Spirit, can pour. In humility, you
can now easily bow your head and be truly repentant before the awesome Goodness of the Father.
You understand that to the disenfranchised, the suffering Filipinos everywhere, the Faith is so strong, the faith in Me, in
being nourished by Me, and the Holy Spirit, this Faith will be the Light for the whole world. A nation that suffers long
patiently will harvest such an outpouring of grace sufficient to heal this dark dark world of yours. For all the nobody’s
of this country have been steadily garnering the ultimate blessings of My Father’s goodness. The Father is so so so
generous once He decides that the suffering has gone on long enough, to pour His divine presence upon all. As in the
time of Moses, your OCW’s are like the Israelites of old, serving their foreign masters. Mostly they suffer unknown to
many for a long long time. The Father has need of much suffering to atone for the sins of this world.
Many Filipinos are being molded all over the world in a spiritual renewal yet to be witnessed by all. You cannot imagine
the Father’s plan. It is so wonderful.
In the meantime, continue to offer, humble yourself so you can continue to receive His mercy and love. Pray much for your
co Filipinos who work abroad for one day, they shall journey back to their beloved land and shall choose to rise from the
ashes of corruption and unbridled greed. When they wake up, it will be a blitzkrieg, sudden, causing your lawmakers to
fold their lips, and live up to their role as servants of the people. Good governance will be the only road to take.
The victory of the azkals is a victory that is, though temporary, meant to be a sign of God’s favour upon the Philippines.
(azkals is a football team that won in the preliminary round against sri langka and its team members are made up of Filipinos
who have been raised not just in this country but all over the world)
Watch for signs of greater participation of your OCW’s in bringing glory of this God loving nation to Light.
The world will begin to understand the vital role played by the Philippines in world salvation. For the world’s sins weigh it
down so much, so expect to greater chastisements. The Father chastises because He wishes for a return to His Plan, His will.
Before the Big One hits, smaller ones (comets) will hit first. Always the father warns so prepare. Look at families now, small ones
hitting them – one member struck with cancer, to another, the marriage is strained, to yet another, the loss of a young
member of the family, oppression in yet another, unbridled greed in yet another, suicide, yet there will also be light from
the family member who though weighed down is praying for his/her family and trusting in God. Be My Light in your families.
Hence this is the time not to waste, deepen your conversions. Much sacrifice is needed in all because it is the final
return to the Father.
The task is indeed getting more intense, more immense. But the Father still decides the timing. However, bear in mind
to hurry in deepening your soul’s purification, choose to learn greater humility, so a greater outpouring of his love can take
place within and you can extend the gifts of his Mercy, Charity more and more. For so many are in need, in need, in need.
Many thirst
The Spirit thirsts now in so many souls yet so few, so few, answer the call to serve their brothers and sisters in need when they
have clearly travelled further in the journey. But the Spirit pours out in greater measure!
Always my humble children do not worry that your stepping out and showing the Lord’s love and mercy to others will be
rejected or ridiculed. That is pride..When your cup overflows with my goodness, do not be shy, praise me, demonstrate
your faith, your love, in Me, in the Father, by touching one person in need. So many souls are in the dark now and waiting
for you to reach out to them to Light their path, to show them the Truth.
The narrow path back to the Father might be difficult but my humble children, it is to you, my humble contrite hearts that
trust so simply, so openly, that is tasked to make this path wider and easier for others. Filipinos love to do things in groups
you see. Already you know the secret to the Father’s identity. The Father’s identity is shrouded in the trinity!
The Most Holy Trinity! So you see, if you work together, praying for each other, loving each other, much can be accomplished.
At least two by two, as in the past go and preach once more the good news that I have come, salvation is for all.
I implore you to show others they are not alone, to come to me,(in mass or in the adoration chapel), to come to me,
to drink of My blood, and eat of My body, and to ask for the Holy Spirit’s gifts, that they have nothing to fear, that their Mother
consoles, protects and guides them, as do their guardian angels and saints they come to call on.
Teach them to trust much, not to fear the greater conflict, struggles, divisions and painful attacks because the Father
has planned the great Reconciliation and renewal of the Kingdom. Amidst the greater struggle is hewn the greater purification
and renewal of his Kingdom within and in the fullness of time, renewal of the Kingdom without.
Trust much and believe in the Great Plan of Love of the Father for all! Help to accomplish this one soul at a time. Start with your own!

One of the great passages on peace was engraved on a monument dated 1629 in a Baltimore church. It has come down to us known as the Desiderata. The following excerpt is an appropriate reflection today with our readings on peace:
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story...
You are a child of the Universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, however you conceive him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

Medjugorje Day By Day July 08 - Abandon yourselves to God

July 8 - Abandon yourselves to God
From Our Lady's Weekly message of August 9, 1984:
Dear Children, Satan continues to hinder my plans. Pray, Pray, Pray! Abandon yourselves to God in prayer. Pray with the heart. (WM 8-9-84)
Christ asks us to present our needs to the Father in prayer:
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. (Jn 15:7-8)
Reflection:
One of the fruits of prayer is trust in God; he becomes our refuge and safe harbor. "All things work together," writes the English poet R.H. Benson, "if one will but trust God." Trusting, confident prayer is the fruit of a fervent faith that believes the Lord hears every request.

Cast off indecision and doubt not in the least, when asking anything from God....Those who are divided in purpose are they who waver before the Lord and altogether fail to obtain any of their requests. But those who are wholly perfect in the faith ask everything with reliance on the Lord and they receive.
