ORTHODOXY TODAY
Today, Orthodox Churches include those that accept or hold the teachings of the Council of Chalcedon. Some scholars extend it to the first seven councils, others to three.
Confusingly to us in the West, Orthodox Churches signed unity with the Roman Rite in 1274 at the Council of Lyons. Even at the Council of Florence, they did not walk out (1439). (A council is a meeting of Church bishops).
The Orthodox Church also called the Oriental or Greek Church Eastern orthodox, Orthodox Catholic, or Orthodox Catholic Church of the East, maintains patriarchates in Constantinople (Istanbul), Alexandria (African), Jerusalem, Antioch, Bulgaria, Serbia (Yugoslavia), Moscow, and Rumania.
There is also a Gregorian Catholicate. Other self-governing churches may be found in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, China, Japan, Macedonia, three Russian Churches outside Russia, among Ukrainians abroad. Ruthenians abroad and the Western Rite Orthodox Churches.
The Orthodox Church has ten jurisdictions, Albanian, Bulgarian, Greek, another Albanian, Carpatho-Russian, Ukrainian, White Russian under Greek jurisdiction; Russian American; Japanese Orthodox; Carpatho-Russian under Rumanian jurisdiction; Russian patriarchal Exarchate and Greek Orthodox (Old Calendar ); Syrian Orthodox, and Western Rite; Syrian Jurisdiction of Toledo (broke from New York); Rumanian Jurisdiction under Rumanian patriarchate, Serbian and Estonian.

Dear Friends,
Jesus said, Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13 14
I am sending you another message from Our Lord and Saviour addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him in these words, There are only two roads for you to travel. One road is in poor shape with holes and it is narrow but that road leads to life and to the Kingdom of God. The gate is also very narrow and few people find it.
The poor state of the road refers to the suffering of life on earth and to the fact that you must reject the world and all its temptations and follow a life of humility, loving your enemies and forgiving all those who hurt you.
The other road where you find many people is a road that is wide and broad. It wants to satisfy your appetite for food, drink, pleasure, pride, money and sex. Those follow the mind of secular society and refuse to accept Me as their Saviour and Redeemer. This road leads to a wide gate but the result is destruction.
You will not find life or happiness at the end of this road. Unfortunately, many follow this wide road and if they remain on this road all through their earthly live, they will be taken by Satan and they will be as good as dead. There is no salvation for those who follow the wide road.
Now, My brothers and sisters, it is for you to make a very important decision. You know that I am calling you to follow the poor road with the narrow gate but I cannot force you to take that road. However, if you say yes to Me, I will come with My grace and fill you with the Holy Spirit and you will find peace and love, these great gifts that come from Me. There will be suffering but I will be there to help you.
Did I not say, Come to me all you who are burdened and I will refresh you I never abandon My friends but I give them all the wonderful gifts they need. Do not remain on the wide road because you will be destroyed, come follow Me on the other road and let us go together through the narrow gate. I bless you all.

Feb 4 - LOVE ALL WITH MY LOVE
A Message from the Madonna on love:
"Dear children, I am call in you to a complete surrender to God. Pray, little children, that Satan does not sway you like branches in the wind. Be strong in God. I desire that through you the whole world may get to know the God of joy. Neither be anxious nor worried. God will help you and show you the way. I want you to love all with love, both the good and the bad. Only that way will love conquer the world. (Monthly Message May 25, 1988)
Christ gives us an example of indiscriminate love in this scene from Luke's gospel:
After this he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, "Follow me." And he got up, left everything, and followed him. Then Levi gave a great banquet for him in his house; and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting at the table with them. The Pharisees and their scribes were complaining to his disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?" Jesus answered, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance" (Lk 5:27-32)
Reflection:
The visit to Matthew's home hurt Jesus' reputation, yet Matthew's soul was obviously worth the price, and more. God values and loves all of us, whether saint or sinner, beyond our comprehension. And he asks us in turn to reach out in love to others, especially the sinful and the hurting, that he might heal them through our touch. In the words of an anonymous poet:
Love has a hem to its garment That touches the very dust; It can reach the stains of the streets and lanes, And because it can, it must. This is also the core of Our Lady's message today: "I want you to love all men with my love, both the good and the bad. Only that way will love conquer the world..."
Application:
Let us pray with Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who wrote these words while in a Nazi concentration camp: "Give me such love for you, O Lord, and for all men, as will blot out all hatred and bitterness."

Heavenly Messages as given to Anna Marie, an Apostle of the Green Scapular
VISIONS GIVEN TO ANNA MARIE
JANUARY 30, 2009
Four visions were given, but only two are recalled below.
As the first vision of a tragic event was seen, Anna Marie began praying to Jesus
for mercy and began reciting and repeating the Hail Mary prayer. Seeking the
mercy and intercession of Jesus to mitigate the event. This vision disappeared as
if to understand that the Hail Mary prayers recited, mitigated the event.
A second vision came, again Anna Marie began praying more, reflecting on the
fifth mystery of the Holy Rosary, Jesus’ Crucifixion. The second vision disappeared,
as if to understand that this event had also been mitigated through the recitation
of the fifth mystery of the Holy Rosary.
For the sake of more prayers still needed, and in hopes the event has not yet taken
place; we offer Anna Marie’s vision for you to pray for its mitigation.
“I saw a street corner in any residential community with a small car stopped at the
stop sign. A young boy about 10 years of age had gotten off his bike and was
holding it by the handle bars, began walking across the street. The young boy was
almost midway in front of the car, when a large truck came down the street going
much too fast.
It was obvious the truck was not familiar with the road and that a
stop sign was up ahead of this steep road. I knew the truck driver would never be
able to stop quickly enough to slow down in time to prevent striking the little care
and in turn running the little boy over. If Jesus did not intercede, the boy would be
struck by the little car and would certainly die.”
The last vision was that of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
“I saw a beautiful tree in
an open field during the day, full of leaves and healthy. As the Lord took me
closer to the tree, blackened hands began coming up from the earth. I saw so
many hands that I could not count them.
I understood that the hands belonged to
the Holy Souls in Purgatory, who were begging for help, begging for prayers to be
offered for them so that they could be freed from Purgatory, from their sufferings.”
We have published these two visions so that all Apostles of the Green Scapular
would pray continuously for the mitigation of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

only begotten Son of the Father, who suffered and died on the cross for my sins and then descended to the
dead, arose again and ascended into heaven where Jesus now sits at God’s right hand side to judge the living
and the dead?
Mother Mary: Yes my daughter, I your heavenly Mother, Mary of the Eucharist, will now and always bow
down and adore my Holy Beloved and Sacrificial Son, Jesus of the Cross, who did die on the cross, was buried,
descended to the dead, arose from the dead, ascended into heaven and now my Holy Son sits at His Father’s
right hand side to judge the living and the dead.
Anna Marie: Yes my Lady, please speak for your sinful servant is listening.
Mother Mary: My little one, I have called you this night to express a most sorrowful event on the horizon in
your country. A terrible chain of events is about to take place that will leave many in the dark and in danger.
Fires are about to erupt and many will be in need of rescue, but will not find help in time. I must request immediate
and serious prayer.
Mother Mary: My beloved children, I speak to you directly. Listen to your Heavenly Mother. The days seem
to be in great distress. Hope is becoming more difficult in your homes, in your work, in your communities.
But do not despair. Do not stop praying, but pray more. The times you are experiencing have been foretold to
you for countless years, so now they have arrived. The only means by which you and your families will survive
is by turning and trusting in your Savior, my Son, Jesus.
Mother Mary: Do not despair, do not give up on Hope, I will guide you. Your Heavenly Mother will guide
you. You must be aware of the present evil which is over-shadowing your country. Fight evil with prayer.
Fight evil with fasting and abstinence. Fight evil through the greatest Sacrament that our Heavenly Father
has ever given to his people, MY SON’S BODY AND BLOOD! The Hope and Cure for every spiritual,
physical, financial and emotional disease.
Mother Mary: I am calling each of you by name to pray! I am pleading for each family to join their hearts
together and pray as a family. Pray for the mitigation of our Heavenly Father’s wrath. Pray for my Son to
once again be renewed in all hearts, in all homes throughout the world. My children pray, pray, pray. Pray for
mercy. Pray for protection. Pray for financial stability. Pray to stop the slaughter against the innocent babies
in their mother’s wombs. Pray day and night, pray, pray and pray more. I love you my children of mercy. I
bless you all.

SOON into your SOUL will come a GREAT LIGHT. This LIGHT will be that of the HOLY SPIRIT. This LIGHT will SEARCH YOUR SOUL and EXPOSE ALL YOUR SINS TO YOU.
This will bring the SOUL INTO GREAT DISTRESS!!! It will be at this time that TERROR WILL GRIP YOUR SOUL. It will be at that time that YOU will be in GREAT DISTRESS!!!
It will be then that you will look into the SKY and see the CRUCIFIX. You will see ME hanging from the CROSS and will realize EACH WOUND THAT YOU ADDED TO MY BODY.
The DISTRESS of the SOUL AND THE HEART will increase to such a point that SOME WILL DIE.
At this point I AM JESUS will be WAITING for the ones who remain to MAKE THEIR DECISION!!!
Either the SOUL will accept this GREAT MERCY OR THE SOUL WILL REJECT IT!!!
Those who ACCEPT this GREAT GIFT OF MY MERCY will become HOLY, HOLY, HOLY.
Those who REJECT this GREAT GIFT OF MY MERCY will have made their FINAL CHOICE and will be allowed to follow the evil one and his demons INTO HELL.
THE CHOICE YOU MAKE AT THIS TIME WILL BE FINAL!!!
