Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary Protectress of Africa
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Protectress of Africa, you have given to the world the true Light, Jesus Christ. Through your obedience to the Father and the grace of the Holy Spirit, you have given us the source of our reconciliation and our justice, Jesus Christ, our peace and our joy.
Mother of Tenderness and Wisdom, show us Jesus, your Son and the Son of God. Guide our path of conversion, so that Jesus might shine his glory on us in every aspect of our personal, familial and social lives.
Mother, full of Mercy and Justice, through your docility to the Spirit, the Counselor, obtain for us the grace to be witnesses of the Risen Lord, so that we will increasingly become the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
Mother of Perpetual Help, we entrust to your maternal intercession the preparation and fruits of the Second Special Assembly for Africa. Queen of Peace, pray for us! Our Lady of Africa, pray for us!

Medjugorje Day BY Day June 30 - THE MIRACULOUS
"All of us can only stand before him and adore. Even the authority of a priest must in the end be adoration, must spring from adoration and culminate in adoration. And thereby something else becomes clear: Communion and adoration do not stand side by side, or even in opposition, but are indivisibly one" (Pope Benedict XVI).
"If you ate only one meal a week would you survive? It is the same for your soul. Nourish it with the Blessed Sacrament." (Bl. Andre Bessette)
Mother Teresa --
I Thirst: "On the Cross Jesus said: `I thirst.' From the Blessed Sacrament Jesus continues to say to each of us: `I thirst.' He thirsts for our personal love, our intimacy, our union with Him in the Blessed Sacrament. His longing for us to be with Him in the Blessed Sacrament is infinitely greater than our longing to be with Him."
Meditations by Padre Pio -
My Jesus, save everyone; I offer myself as a victim for everyone; strengthen me, take my heart, fill it with Your love and then command me to do whatever You want (AD 53).
Archbishop Fulton Sheen
A compassionate man always has time!
"The truly compassionate and kind man who gives up his time for others manages to find time. Like the bread, miraculously multiplied, he gives, and yet he gathers up for himself more than he gave."
St. Faustina's diary http://www.marian.org/directory_flash.html -
As I took the pen in hand, I addressed a short prayer to the Holy Spirit and said, "Jesus, bless this pen so that everything You order me to write may be for the glory of God."
Then I heard a voice: Yes, I bless [it], because this writing bears the seal of obedience to your superior and confessor, and by that very fact I am already given glory, and many souls will be drawing profit from it. My daughter, I demand that you devote all your free moments to writing about My goodness and mercy. It is your office and your assignment throughout your life to continue to make known to souls the great mercy I have for them and to exhort them to trust in My bottomless mercy. (1567)
MEDJUGORJE DAY BY DAY
These thoughts for a day are taken from a daily meditation book based on the Messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje by Father Richard J. Beyer, Ave Maria Press.
JUNE 30 - THE MIRACULOUS
Concerning the miracle of a fire that several hundred people saw burning on Mt. Podbrdo, but which did not consume anything, the Gospa said:
The fire seen by the faithful was miraculous. It is one of the signs -- a forerunner of the great sign. (First Year, 10-28-81)
In the gospel of Luke, we see the miraculous healing of a crippled woman:
Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, "Woman, you are set free from your ailment." When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God (Luke 13:10- 13)
Reflection:
A striking miracle occurred in Medjugorje involving a forty-three- year-old Italian secretary and mother of three, Diana Basile. Multiple sclerosis had been diagnosed in 1972, along with total urinary incontinence, perineal dermatitis, blindness in one eye, difficulty in walking and, to compound matters, a severe clinical depression. In May of 1984, a friend persuaded Diana to join a pilgrimage group going from Milan to Medjugorje.
On the evening of May 23, she was in the church and a friend helped her to climb the steps to the side chapel where the apparitions were then occurring. From the records kept at the parish in Medjugorje, here are her own words:
At that point I no longer wanted to enter the chapel...but the door was opened and I went in. I knelt just behind the door. When the children came in and knelt down...I heard a loud noise. After that I remember nothing, except an indescribable joy and certain episodes of my life passing before my eyes as though on film.
When it was all over, I followed the children, who went straight to the main altar in the church. I was walking just like everybody else, and I knelt down just as they did. It didn't actually occur to me that anything extraordinary had happened, until my friend came up to me in tears.
Diana's cure had been instantaneous. Later that night she found that she was no longer incontinent, and the dermatitis had completely disappeared. Her right eye, useless for twelve years, had regained perfect vision. The following day she walked the six miles from her hotel in Ljubuski to the church in Medjugorje, and later climbed Mt. Podbrdo.
Application:
Today, offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the miracles at Medjugorje, which give witness to the world of the love of Christ and the Blessed Mother.

Jesus Reminds Us Of The Way To Salvation!
Today we attended the 8:00 AM Mass at our parish, Our Lady Of Sorrows. There I said prayers keeping in mind all those with special needs and intentions. In preparation of receiving the Most precious Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the sacrament of Holy Communion, I made special offerings to Jesus and Mary and then made an Act of Contrition.
My prayers to Jesus on my knees were to ask Him to remove all thoughts and sights from my mind, other than those that might come from Him. Too, I asked Jesus to keep my heart clear from all thoughts and/or words, other than those that come from Him.
Then with the Most Sacred Host on my tongue, I knelt in silent commune with Jesus and prayed, If it be Your will, speak Lord for Your servant listens. Jesus responded to my heart with the following message:
Note: In my mind's eye, I saw a huge church with many, many empty pews.
Eileen My child, while My church should have standing room only for the sacrifice I offer of My body and blood for the salvation of all, there are too many vacant seats!
My crucifixion and death for the salvation of all is extended and offered each week through the sacrament of Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins and the way to eternity! Yet with all the absenteeism, it must be said that My sacrifice is not truly appreciated. Therefore in the final hour when you call out My name, how will I know you? Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers and sisters. Amen.

Message from Our Blessed Mother to Jorge Zavala

Dear little children,
Thank you for being with me. Little children, just as nature is transformed with the warmth of the sun, so may you permit the light of the Lord to illumine every corner of your being. With your good deeds you will overcome the evil that desires to take a hold on you.
As children of God, you have obtained the mercy of my Son and as His disciples you have been called to forgive as well. Open your hearts to forgiveness; in this way you will begin to walk on the path on which I desire to guide you. Do not be afraid. I love you and I am with you.
I bless you and may the peace of the Lord remain in your hearts.
Message to Carol Ameche June 14, 2009
External locution through Carol at Ameche Prayer Group, June 14, 2009
My dearest children, I am your Eucharistic Lord, your Jesus of Mercy, your Savior and your King. I bring the joy of all in Heaven today, united with My Sacred Heart for you everywhere in the world, most especially those who are faithful to My Eucharistic Presence in My Blessed Sacrament; and I invite you once again to come as often as possible, to stay as long as you can and to absorb the gifts I need to give you.
It is closer than ever to events that you await and pray about and prepare for. How you receive these words with mixed emotions, My dear people! It is understood by all of Heaven. You cannot see your souls shining as I can see them. You cannot see that I have poured out My blood upon you this day, that I am blessing you now everywhere in the world. The events for which you wait, My children, are not something you will wish to have hurried along. When you see them, you will understand.
You know I am not trying to frighten you, My dear children, My dear, dear ones. I only wish to draw you into My Sacred Heart, to hide you there, to protect you there, and to remind you of this once again. The world boils. Satan is given so much power. Heaven has more.
You are given so much grace. Heaven has more. I pour out Eucharistic grace upon each of you this day, and I thank you for your fidelity again and again and again. You are My Eucharistic people. You do prepare for My Eucharistic reign. How you have grown, My children! How happy you make your Father, your Lord, your Savior, your Sanctifier, your Holy Mother!
I know you are preparing, and I urge you once again to stay faithful and faithfully focused on the events for which you prepare. It is not to think in a negative way, My people; but it is the life of a soldier, a warrior. It is the life of one who listens and obeys. I pour out new obedience upon you this day, lovingly, longingly.
I hold you close to My heart this day, each of you everywhere. I confer upon you blessings and protection and courage and bravery as one going into war. I call you forth as combatants on the battlefield. I call you forth as My precious little ones. My children, We are one. I love you so much.
Never tire of hearing that. You will overcome, My children, everything. Each of you who remain faithful will remain more faithful. I give you this long-suffering, this perseverance for this waiting this day. Believe it is given. Believe it is blossoming in your heart and your soul, in your will.
I love you. You are Mine. You are Mine. You are Mine!! Be at peace, My children. Praise the Father and thank Him. Praise the Father together. We praise you Father, and we thank you. (Here the entire group joined in with “We praise you, Father, and we thank You numerous times over) Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you children. Amen." Carol Ameche
Be renewed, recollected, recommitted to the Father's Plan for Mercy on the World. Listen and pray!

guardian of Jesus, chaste spouse of the Mother of
God, I ask you to join me in praising God the Father
through His Divine Son who died on the cross and

Holy Name of Jesus, pray with me that we may obtain
from the eternal Father the favor we ask. (here

Say this prayer for nine consecutive days.
Fear not! God is your shelter (the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. God never fails). Don’t fail him. Call on Jesus. Jesus on the mainline, tell him what you want!
